Anyway, I just wanted to point out that you don't even have to go into someone's profile to add them as a friend if you see them in a thread and think "Oh yeah, I need to add that person." If you click on their name, it gives you a bunch of options in a drop down box. View Public Profile Send a private message to member Send email to member Find more posts by member Add member to Your Contacts That last one takes you to a page which asks you if you really want to add them as a contact and it also gives you the option to do a friend request.
