She's amazing! I love "Paper Gangsta"

That's my favourite, too, besides Again and Again...

You can tell from the 2 videos she currently has running on tv that she is not a one hit wonder, so I checked her other stuff on Youtube...

It is unbelievable for her to come up with so many songs of really good quality - all catchy but not cheesy, taking you back to the eighties but without direct plagism.

:punk:

She will she will rock you

"It's probably not too surprising that one of 2008's hottest up-and-coming dance divas Lady GaGa packed her playlist of favorite tunes with plenty of her fellow dancefloor denizens: Mika, Madonna, Britney, Scissor Sisters. And naturally, her namesake song -- Queen's "Radio GaGa" -- is here. A little more unexpected, however, are tracks from the Cure, Marilyn Manson and ... Wilson Phillips?!"

Great taste in music. Queen, Mika, AND No Doubt. We must be kindred spirits. :wub2:

What an impressively eclectic list this is! Anyone who appreciates both Mika AND Radiohead is ok by me really :naughty:

I was not (am still not, 100%) convinced by Lady GaGa - I didn't get 'Just Dance' at all - but after looking at this list, and having had 'Poker Face' stubbornly stuck in my head for the past 24 hours, I am starting to warm to her a bit.

Perhaps Simply Red included would have provided you the final warming up:naughty:

I've come to the conclusion that I like her music...but's that's it. Not the way she looks or anything. :bleh:

.. I think if you laugh at her looks she will laugh with you.

That, to me, is actually cool.

Thanks:thumb_yello:

When I first heard her demos on youtube, she reminded me so much of Liza Minelli and her live piano acts actually support this vision in my head. She is so theatrical when she performs songs only with a piano...
