does anybody know why they changed the released date?

No, sorry, I don't know what happened there. :(

I'm sorry I don't understand these things such as regions on dvds and so on, but can't some of you order from Amazon UK. Or Play.com, or don't they deliver in your neck of the woods?

I only ask this because I know someone got the Katy Perry CD from Amazon US and shipped to the UK before it was released here.

We could order from Amazon UK, bab, but we'd have to pay the UK price,

which is more expensive than it is in US dollars, plus shipping from the

UK to the States. It would be much cheaper (and quicker) if we could

just order from Amazon.com.

Just for the record, when I ordered the deluxe wasn't available on UK Amazon, only on Play.com.

Yes, but as of now, it doesn't look like the Deluxe version is going to

be available here at all. The deluxe version of Live in Cartoon Motion

wasn't :(

Why couldn't they just release an "All Regions" NTSC DVD in the first place? That would have worked for everyone and then nobody would have any problems.

Hey, Kate -- from what I'm hearing from those who already have it,

I think that this DVD *is* compatible with all regions. It's just the question

of whether we can get the Deluxe version.

And FTR, I think the biggest difference between the Deluxe and the

regular version is the packaging. But for a few dollars' difference, might

as well go for the deluxe, yeah? :wink2:

*looks at you with puppy dog eyes* :naughty:

Naaah don't invite me, I don't want to have another melt down from my parents saying no

Aww...you'd be welcome over too. :thumb_yello:

But your mom doesn't know me, I'm a stranger from the internet. I'd be the same way with my 13 year old ... it would never be allowed.

Now if you're mom was an MFCer too, she might want to come with you. :naughty:

Yep yep yep, that's my mom in a few short words, but she'd never "feel like going out" to go into the city.

She has some grudge against sherway gardens :bored:

Ha. That's funny you should mention Sherway Gardens - I went shopping there on my lunch hour. :naughty:

Keep telling your mom how you are looking forward to Mika coming again next year. If you talk about your wishes and plans to see his gig on the next tour, then it makes it more difficult for her to say no. :wink2:Then we can all meet for lunch or in the lineup and she'll see we're not axe murderers. She still might think I'm wacko to be having MFC slumber parties to watch live concert dvds at my age though... :naughty:

Random question...

Do DVD players that are in computers play any DVD format?

yes, but you have switch to them to that particular dvd region.

you have a limited # of switches, like 5 or so, after which the new settings become permanent. :boxed:

OK, thanks :wink2:

Good to know it's possible, though it's very frustrating watching DVD's on my computer because it slows down a lot so they sound like robots

I'd rather watch on my big tv :naughty:
