As I said before here you are some pics of my city. Sorry if the quality is not good (I’ve just found them on internet)

Here you can see where my region is situated:

Perugia is the most important city of my region and Foligno is the city wher I was born:

I simply love this thread!!! I love traveling so its interesting to read on the places you all have written about.

I am living in the city of Tiberias located in the northen side of Israel.

The most well known landmark in the area is The sea of galilee, which is a lake actually, that supply the majority of drinking water in Israel.

Unfortunatly, because of lack of rain, this lake is slowly disappearing :boxed:

Tiberias is also known to be full with historical archeological finds as well as biblical landmarks.

We have some twin towns here in Aus that straddle state borders but they generally don't have too many problems. Although there is one that straddles the border of Queensland and New South Wales, and that gets a tiny bit tricky when daylight savings comes in, as Qld doesn't do daylight saving and NSW does. I'm not sure what they've come up with as a solution...

There isn't a solution for Tweed Heads/Coolongatta... When we went there we had to make sure to keep track of QLD time so we could catch a bus back to Bureigh Heads...

So, I leave a message for Mfcers who plan to go in holidays in Brittany next summer, PM me, I'll be your guide ! :naughty:

I meant to mention... my niece's name is Brittany... my mum mentioned it to my sister after my niece was born and she liked it...

So basically, every time I see someone mention Brittany, I think of my Brittany! :biggrin2:

It' the "dune du pyla" near Arcachon... it's the highest dune of Europe... I've already climbed it and I swear it's harder than I thought when I was at the bottom of the dune :wub2:

and here "l'île aux oiseaux" on the basin of Arcachon near Cap Ferret with her "tchanquées" huts:wink2:

pyla is one of the best things in france! :punk: there's truly an amazing view from up there and the dune is very strange to admire and climb. it's also very tiring to climb up all that sand, but it's fun to run down from it :bleh:
