Naectegale
Hi Clare I'm working from home because of the snow - only 6 people managed to get to work (out of 80+) It looks very pretty, but I wish It would go away:thumbdown: Edited February 2, 2009 by Naectegale
sariflor
I got TONS of snow!! Like 30 cm, it's mad! No cars can run as the roads are full of snow and there is no grit, and the trains into London on my route have all been cancelled . Same for the tube that I need to take after the train, so I was stuck at home. I didn't have my work laptop either, so I'm trying to make do installing stuff on my 'normal' laptop to access some systems and all that, but it's a bit annoying. Mind you, if I had my work laptop with me it would be perfect . I took tons of nice pics and will take some more, which I will put on photobucket soon so I can share them. It started snowing last night around 5 pm and it has NOT STOPPED SINCE!!!

Shaza!
It's funny to think we are so close yet there isn't one sign of snow here today, it's actually one of the nicest days I've seen in quite a while, nice and sunny and clear.

Marilyn Mastin
It's pelting down like mad here in Greater Manchester! That's unusual, because Manchester is surrounded by hills, and the snow tends to miss us mostly... But not this time! However, I'm too old to go sledging, unlike Mika! It started snowing last night around 5 pm and it has NOT STOPPED SINCE!!! This is unbelievable! Snow in your part of the world, and in mine, where it should be, we hardly have any at all! Don’t miss the opportunity to make a snow lamp, it’s so beautiful! http://www.scrappa.nu/archives/2005/12/29/340/ Be careful and don’t drive if you’re not use to slippery roads! I'm looking forward to see pics of this historical moment!

A. Clay
@DAYLIFE A snowman sits outside a shop with a post it note saying 'Employee of the month' after the heaviest snowfall for years hit Britain on February 2, 2009. A blanket of snow covered large parts of western Europe today after some of the heaviest falls in nearly two decades, causing major flight delays, disrupting public transport and misery on the roads. http://www.daylife.com/photo/0bjmcEdgukarx/snow_in_britain Edited February 2, 2009 by A.
