Elmindreda
Well, I have always loved words, and I just thought that we could have a thread where we can post our favourite, least favourite, or plain strange and unusual words. I know there are a lot of people here who don't speak English as their first language, so you could post words from other languages as well. Just please tell what they mean. Here is one of my favourite words: nonsensical

Elmindreda
I asked my friend about favourite words and this is what he came up with: Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis [noo-muh-noh-uhl-truh-mahy-kruh-skop-ik-sil-i-koh-vol-key-noh-koh-nee-oh-sis] definition: an obscure term ostensibly referring to a lung disease caused by silica dust, sometimes cited as one of the longest words in the English language.
