Okay, I'm not sure who all has heard Mika sing "When I See an Elephant Fly" from Dumbo, but it gave me an idea. I got to thinking, that if Mika somehow had the time, maybe he could redo all of his favorite Disney classics and put it on a cd. He could sell it and raise money for charity, or just for something fun to do! I doubt he'll ever do it, but does anyone else think this is a good idea? And if so, what Disney song would you like to hear him redo? This is a "just for fun" idea :)

 

I personally vote for "I Wanna Be Like You" from Jungle Book. :biggrin2:

I love that song, and he should have sung it on the Movie Toons show, Michael Ball was good, but Mika would have done it as good.

I think it would be a great idea, a few years down the line, get a couple of albums more under his belt first.

A Spark Inside Us - The Princess and the Goblin (even though it's not a Disney movie, I'd love to hear him sing that song :naughty:)

And it's my fave- I can't believe it didn't make the programme- it was on the radio all the time when I was a kid

 

And now I'm in love with Baby Mine thanks to Kaatje- Mika could be so tender singing it, and he's NEARLY as cute as Dumbo

They would be my choices too! especially Circle Of Life, because Mika could SO NAIL that part at the beginning (everyone knows the bit I mean)

I've edited, because I've just thought of one that could have been written for Mika to sing! I'm not sure of the real title, but it's the one Esmerelda sings in the cathederal in, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I think it's called. God Help the Outcasts.

I agree with "The Bells of Notre Dame" song - I love the character of the jester as well and think Mika would play him brilliantly. It's just a great song (thank you Stephen Schwartz for lending your talents on the amazing yet totally underrated Disney film "Hunchback of Notre Dame")

Yes, just about any of the songs from Tarzan could be good -- I was

thinking about You'll Be in My Heart, as well. I'm not a huge Phil Collins

fan, but I did enjoy the music from that movie. That's the trouble though,

I have a whole lot of favorite Disney tunes -- I would really have trouble

narrowing my list down to just one or two... :wink2:
