btw, isn't there a possibility to combine the old and the new (rsvp) thread? but it's good that at least there's a link to the old thread in here. :thumb_yello:

and mellody...would you mind passing by italy and pick me up? :roftl:

lemme think... 2 hours by car to the festival... about 10 hours forth+back additionally to pick you up... um, nope. :mf_rosetinted: think it would be easier if you took a flight to munich and joined us from here. :bleh:

anyway, i'd love to see you there! :huglove:

and bubbles/ingie, fab that you're coming too! :biggrin2:

let's hope for perfect weather!

pfff, we know how to handle rain from Amsterdam :naughty: and I think is´s not possible that it is so cold in August.

I´m happy to see you all again and I hope to see Robertina for the first time.

shh!! :sneaky2: believe me, it IS possible! :aah: and we'll have to stand outside not only for "queuing" but also during the show, so it'd better not rain!! :sneaky2:

though burning sun without shade all day might not be the best option either... :fisch: so "perfect weather" for this day would mean to me about 25 degrees and slightly cloudy. *submits this order to the weather god* :mf_rosetinted:

Oh, this sounds perfect :thumb_yello:

I remember a Concert a few years ago, it was so hot that my Shoes melted on the hot ground.

I just ordered my ticket :original:. I'm in the festival mood after Pinkpop (well, only if Mika performs that is :bleh:).

Emerald, do I have to buy a ticket for the camping place in pre sale?

Nanou, do you anything about the transportation already from Fribourg to Arbon (and back)?

I'm looking forward to it, seeing Mika (and you people) in my 2nd home country :biggrin2:.

I'm looking at getting my train tickets sorted in the next few days - does anyone know what time they'll be arriving yet? I could get into Arbon around 12 on Saturday but I'm worried it'll be too late :aah:

we were thinking around noon, but no idea really. :dunno: at the 2 festivals where i've seen mika in 2007, it would've been enough to be there at 4pm. but depends on the festival i guess... has anyone on here been to the summer days festival before? :dunno: i mean, you can't stand in front row from noon til 10 pm, would need sth to eat/drink, and a toilet some time in between i guess?

Thanks Melody! I'm a festival virgin so you could say I'm a bit clueless :naughty:

like i said, i guess that's different for every festival anyway. or at least in every country. maybe that other swiss festival where mika played last month can give a clue as to what it's like in switzerland? nanou was there iirc, maybe she can give us a hint as to what time makes sense?

well, according to what I've seen at Festi'Neuch and several other times at Paleo, there's no need to be there like 5 hours before they open the doors :naughty: Swiss people don't like waiting for hours, they come just before the gig :wink2:

for instance, at Festi'Neuch, the doors opened at 16h and people started arriving at 15h45:aah:, and there were nobody except us at front row until 19h20 (the first gig started at 19h30 :roftl:).

There are other groups playing before Mika but I don't think they are as famous as he his (or are they maybe in the german part of Switzerland and in Germany???). If we manage to be at front row from the beginning, we will definitely be able to move and walk away between gigs (if, of course, we do not leave all at the same time :teehee:). That's what we've done at Werchter this year and it worked quite well.

I can't tell you really more because I've never been to the summerday festival before and I don't know how things are organised there...

Silbermond are very popular in Germany (and I think in other german speaking Countrys also) , so it could be that the most people are arrived before Silbermond (19:45).

I've never heard of them before :blush-anim-cl:.

I do think too that people will mostly arrive before them then. What would be the best to do is being there when they open the doors, go to the stage and see how things happens. But I'm quite convinced that we'll be free to move until Silbermond :wink2:

Do you guys know on what time you'll be at the festival? I think we may arrive aroung 11h, and we will have to go to the camping before (just to be sure to have a place to sleep after the gig :naughty:)
