I only been here a month so I don't have all the history behind the decision but I can understand it.

 

Sometimes, we have to let go of the things we created, so that they can grow on their own...

As some people here already said, I too am a newbie on MFC, so I didn't have the chance to witness all you did for MFC in the past years. Nevertheless: THANK YOU for your work as admin! :thumb_yello:

Admin or not, I f*cking adore you, Mika adores you (big boy, you are beautiful!) and anyone in their right mind who's ever come into contact with you knows what a decent, kind bloke you are.

 

I know Deb will do a fantastic job of all of this, but I think it's safe to say that your part will be missed.

 

Now, you better start shining up your dancing shoes because Fringe is less than 6 weeks away!

I'll do my best to keep on supporting Deb and the mods, I love Mika and MFC, they've been a part of my life for a long time now :wub2:

I appreciate you being so honest FD: we all make mistakes, but it's not easy to admit them, so kudos to you! :thumb_yello:

Right so I've been pushing and driving this beautiful place now for well over 3 years , and now it's time I took a step back.

 

2007 was a year of pushing hard to get MFC recognised and I really have'nt stopped since,the role requires huge effort and I think I'm drained of it all and need to take a backwards step.

 

I do think MFC is a very different place to what it was in 2007/8,and I was suited to that area better in some ways.

 

In this role you can't really step away from it,its now a monster..a monster I'm very very proud of, but stlll .. sometimes you wish for something and get it!:aah:

 

So .. I've decided to step down from the admin position BUT as you see I'm still a huge part of the team and will be right behind Deb with my support whenever it is needed:thumb_yello:

 

I'm still me! , I'm still right behind MFC , I still LOVE Mika , won't leave and will be just as much on tour and part of this place.

 

Also,I've made some mistakes,mistakes which have caused some real friction in the team...and sometimes you have to take the feedback and do what is best for the MFC .. and me!:thumb_yello:

 

So life goes on,Deb has total control of it now,and she is the woman for the job believe me! , lets respect,trust and be right behind her to keep MFC so strong and respected and also for the future!

 

Thanks for all the support over this time,its meant the world to me .. I'm PROUD of MFC , I hope we stay united (more united) and go on respecting the man we all love.

Thanks for all your hard work FD. It's great that you will still be here. I'm only sorry I can't do more for the MFC, but I'm not technologically gifted. Good luck to you and may God bless you.

Was surprised to read this ... but glad you're still staying around ... you would be far too missed otherwise ... Good luck to Deb in her new role ... not that she needs me saying that ... she will be amazing as she's always been .... looking forward to seeing you in Edinburgh .... will never forget the first time I met you ... dressed up as Santa Claus along with your Elf ... and all 3 of us completely confuzzled on how to get to the MFC hideout in some travelodge :teehee:

 

You take it easy big guy ... you deserve a well earned rest :thumb_yello:

I know we've never really gotten to talk but I've been here since the beginning and I've seen the wonderful thngs you've done for MFC over the years. You kinda held us together and made us better. It's sad to see you step down but I understand and respect your decision :thumb_yello: I'm glad you'll still be a part of MFC.

i saw "stand down' and i must admit that i had forgotten the meaning of this expressio: nowi understand better;

well, it's your decision, Deb and the team will take care of the MFc like they did before, i wanted to tell you that i hope to see you at next gigs ( we missed Spain because of the cloud), it's always a pleasure to meet a gentleman...:mf_lustslow::wub2::thumb_yello:
