Sylvana Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 What do we think? Will there be an acoustic tour in 2011? I HOPE SOOO!!!
kaisam Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I really-really hope it. I like small acoustic gigs the most.
DEMI94 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I think for like 69% sure that he's releasing another EP just like SFS. And I just HOPE he will do a small tour:wub2:
Marilyn Mastin Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I think for like 69% sure that he's releasing another EP just like SFS. And I just HOPE he will do a small tour:wub2: I don't know if he'll release an EP. He seems pretty caught up in his album and really excited about it. Much more so than when he was talking about the 2nd album during 2008. I think the SFS EP was one of those things he had to get off his chest so-to-speak, but I, personally, think he wants to get the third album out there. That said... I am aware that he DID say that the new album would be less layered, and more simple. More like the Carpenters or The Cardigans. If that is the case, then the songs would suit a more acoustic setting. So, maybe we will have another acoustic tour.
Mary Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Have no idea, but if he does an accoustic tour, I just hope he comes this way!
Littlelady Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I would like it, too and I'm also curious to his third album but I hope will not work too much. It's not healthy
DEMI94 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I would like it, too and I'm also curious to his third album but I hope will not work too much. It's not healthy Yeah that. He must be home for at least a month. C'mon, he was 3 nights home in fifteen months. He deserves a holiday.
ToyGirl Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Hopefully! I voted Yes. I would like to attend one of his acoustic gigs, never got the chance so far.
Christine Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Yeah that. He must be home for at least a month. C'mon, he was 3 nights home in fifteen months. He deserves a holiday. I think he said 10 months and I'm pretty sure he's exaggerating. He wasn't even touring for 8 weeks from December to February and he's had some breaks here and there.
DuMika Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 i'd be really happy if he'd relase a new EP and if he'd do a small accoustic tour.
pipinhaslovemika Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Have no idea, but if he does an accoustic tour, I just hope he comes this way! You and everyone Mariana! Portugal wants an acoustic Mika:roftl:
Christine Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I am coming to Portgual if he does an acoustic gig there. Can't wait to meet lots of the Portuguese and Spanish fans.
Mary Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I am coming to Portgual if he does an acoustic gig there. Can't wait to meet lots of the Portuguese and Spanish fans. Oooh nice to know that! See, Mika? You need to come here, end of discussion.
Christine Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Oooh nice to know that! See, Mika? You need to come here, end of discussion. Yeah.
Mary Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Yeah. I may have just convinced him, what do you think?
lollipop_monkey Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I am coming to Portgual if he does an acoustic gig there. Can't wait to meet lots of the Portuguese and Spanish fans. Me too! I really hope he does another acoustic tour; the last one was so special. But thinking about timing I'm just not so sure it would be in 2011. My gues is that he'll focus more on his personal life between September and the November South American dates, then take some time off around Christmas and possibly into the new year, too. He might start writing in, say, February 2011, maybe write for six months which takes him to next August, start recording in, say, September 2011 and record up until Christmas (and maybe into the new year)... so if he's relatively quick he might be done recording Album 3 by, say, February 2012. No Mika gigs whatsoever until February 2012?? It's my own speculation and it's still traumatizing me. Say it isn't so!
nico_collard Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I hope that he does a acoustic tour this time, and that he goes to places he didn't go to before... You and everyone Mariana! Portugal wants an acoustic Mika:roftl: So does Australia... The Palais is a nice place for a gig, and it's right next door to Luna Park Besides, I need an excuse to visit Melbourne... Me too! I really hope he does another acoustic tour; the last one was so special. But thinking about timing I'm just not so sure it would be in 2011. Hang on, wasn't he mixing or still recording TBWKTM during the last acoustic tour?
Jojotje Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Me too! I really hope he does another acoustic tour; the last one was so special. So, that safes us at least 8 months! That gives us summer 2011!! And would I go? Silly question! Of course I'd go! Been to the one in Amsterdam, Concertgebouw. Unforgettable!
Shine Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I can only hope it will be another acoustic tour in 2011 cos I've never attended such sort of a gig and it's about time for me.

I know an acoustic gig is, maybe not so strenuous, but really, when he is performing, Mika doesn't know how to slow down. I am actually happy that his touring is going to stop for a while. I don't have to worry about him overdoing things and making himself ill. I'm really excited about the new music he's writing and my request to Mika is for him to keep us updated by doing some studio vlogs (as he did with the 2nd album when we got to hear bits of the music and learned how he put it all together) That would keep me very happy for the time being. Knowing Mika, the next tour will be different anyway. He's not one to stay in one place, music-wise and performance-wise. So the future looks bright whatever happens.
Alina. Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I hope there will be a acoustic tour in 2011, too
coolcat Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I'm hoping that there will be an acoustic tour, but I also doubt that. And I don't think he's gonna come to east Europe, or Baltics. *sad face* When you've been in a gig, you become addictive and you need more. It's quite sad that he probably do a bigger tour just for the next album, which will probably come in the end of 2011. (Hopefully sooner!) But I'm still hoping.
