TBWKTM CD Question

Hey all,

I have a question, I ordered the TBWKTM CD on Amazon and a CD came, which I think is not an original CD. Which seriously pisses me off, because I think it's disrespectful for the artist, the industry, and for the customer in the end.

 

Anway, I was wondering, if any of you online have details on the CD, the thing that struck me as being odd most is, that the CD looks very 'dull', you know, not Mikaish, greyish in print, there ist a magic numbers thing inside, which is also like a fake and the CD holder thing (see through plastic), looks like it's been attached to the back of the CD with hot glue or something similar. Not the way CD's usually come. Can anyone come back to me with info? I want the original and I'm annoyed...

sounds like a fake to me too...have you bought it as second hand item?

 

you can get the magic points going to your magic point area in Mikasounds and validating the CD directly from your PC, just follow the instruction on the site

this is the ultimate way to check whether it's original or not

Yeah, got it as a second hand item, I usually don't do that, but I was getting books on amazon and that stupid reccomended thingwing came up with Mika in it...

Anyhoo, good idea with the mika points thing... And can you tell me, if yours has the image on the CD covering the whole disk? That's the second thing that seemed odd, that the image on the disk goes until the part where the silver on the other side stops, has a thin line, and then starts again...

 

But, I'll go check the Magic numbers thing!

Okay, here we go. I've marked the areas with black pen in photoshop, so you'll know what I mean... Kind of difficult to explan And by the way, the black line on the live CD is not photoshop, that's actually the way the CD looks... Hope the pics work.

Hmm... Does anybody have the Malaysia special edition? Because it says printed and manufactured in Malaysia and there is a special Malaysia ed. Last hope, I guess, but I have the stupid feeling it's a fake too. MIka numbers didn't work, by the way...

It is possible that this is how the Malaysian edition looks. Check with nikjass if she has a Malaysian edition, or her friends.

Okay, so I went to my local CD person, where I usually get CDs from (and from now on, will again ) and he sort of grunted when he saw the CD and was like: "Mh, bad copy..." I've also contacted Nikjass, and unless it is the Malaysian Ed, which I don't think because it doesn't have the bonus track, then it's a fake.
