We could use a pecan pie recipe in Wonka's kitchen thread, Deb... Have a nice time at Disneyworld! There are crocuses everywhere you look. Another week and there will be daffodils It's fabulous how Spring seems to have come sooner this year isn't it? I'm finally planting my garden at the new house and things are growing at an unthinkable speed right now... I'll post some pics soon... it's friday!!!! plans for the weekend anyone?? i'm going to Ottawa for hubby's uncle 80th birthday party tomorrow. i have to bring a green salad. We'll have Carnival here so the children will be home until next thursday...And they'll be changing Carnaval suits everyday... Well there's a wannabe celebrity called Richard Lugner who "invites" some "special guests" to the Opernball every year (well he pays for them ) This year he invited Ruby (the young callgirl from Italy)... I guess pecans are pretty common in the South here. After cashews, they are my favorite nut. I'll dig out my recipe and post in the Wonka's thread, since she asked so sweetly Oh, that looks delicious! I have been thinking to make some tiramisu this weekend. Good recipes, anyone? However, just a few dozen miles to the west we had a completely freezing weekend in Glasgow . We didn't get to walk around the town so much, but kids had a lot of fun browsing all the museums we came across. Other apes have very complex social hierarchies as well, other animals engage in superstitious behaviour, other animals defend their territories to the death, etc. I think it's our animal nature that leads to all these problems. He seems to be criticizing the human hubris of seeing ourselves as above the animals, but without making that distinction, how will people ever rise above it?
