The Origin of Love Artwork

Yes the digital booklet came from iTunes. Maybe there will be one on the CD as well? :dunno: Hopefully someone else can check. I won't be getting an actual CD for another month.

It's the same booklet with the physical CD. It looks great! The CDs in themselves are very simple but classy, white for the standard one and flashy green for the bonus one

But is there a digital file included on the CD?

I love the artwork for the alum and I always loved every artwork that MIKA and Yasmine did cos you can see the love they put there during the work. I love love love how you can see brush strokes :wub2: ... I know that you can make that only if you do it everything with your hand and brush and without programs like Photoshop ... When I was in high school they taught us how to paint but to look like is not paint with brush but still I like that here and on every other MIKA artwork :wink2::wub2:

Don't know where to post this, but since there's a bit of new info about the artwork, I'll post it here http://www.livincool.com/music/mika-origin-of-love

"The cover of the album is also different, he was searching for something sculptural and iconic. Sick of an illustrated base concept, he went to the creators of covers for the Rolling Stones and Grace Jones (among others) – Michael Nash Associates. They hadn’t done album covers in 6 years and there is a distinct feeling of the 90s with the cover, but Mika says that he is very conscious of that."

Anyone have ideas about what the numbers represent? I was sure his number was 3.14159265359. :naughty:

:lmfao:

But no, I have no clue, and I've tried to search for them... they *could* just be random numbers, but with Mika, you tend think there's some hidden meaning, don't you?

Another one

But still, very interesting! Thanks.

hey, and what about the screenprint?? have you seen it?? do u like it?? how is it?? do u recoment me to buy it?

I think that's only being released with the special edition you can preorder from Mikasounds. So it's still a mystery. :dunno:

World's End is a section of the Kings Road in Chelsea.

There is a gastropub called The Pig's Ear near there

If that's the explanation, then it's a bit dull really. I'd prefer a real pig

Awww:wub2:

I got my CD (French version for now, the Uk one'll be in my hands next week).

I really fell in love with the artwork as soon as I saw it :blush-anim-cl:

I love the way it's classy and colorful at the same time~ Also, as said earlier, the "handmade touch" is really amazing...:wink2: They did a real great work !
