BiaIchihara Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) MIKA official @mikasounds 9m Bumbling around Beirut. Just did gig. With a laser projections on the mountains behind me & llights shining out the ocean in front awsome ''Je veux que vous chantiez le plus haut possible, Je veux que vous chantiez pour Damas, Je veux que vous chantiez pour Jerusalem" I want you to sing as high as possible, I want you to sing to Damascus, I want you to sing to Jerusalem Edited July 2, 2013 by BiaIchihara
BiaIchihara Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Some reports of Yasmine (MFCer @mikaliciousyaz) I had never seen Mika so happy. You have no idea how much that means to beirut/his coming here in the midst of everything. It gives us hope. he told us to close our eyes and then scream as loud as we can UNDERWATER for Paris/London/Jerusalem to hear. Because they can. he wore the Lebanese flag on his shoulders yeah we cried aha so like there were the usual fences around the stage/and then seats but as usual in beirut everyone runs up to the fences to c him closer he said his best moment singing billy brown was in 2008 in martyr's square surrounded by a mosque/church and people acknowledging gay rights and that's what defines Lebanon, to him. this mixture of religion in an enclosed space, similar to the situation he faced in that concert he started off with keefak beirut giving beirut a masculine edge/I love it

RayaBadran Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Wow, thank you for the reports guys! What impressed me was the intro of Love Today... It was so ingenious to put in the oriental percussions into it. The stage set-up too got me go nuts about how this show must've been awesome!
