Once again, thank you Melyssa for your long detailed report You're going to be our official reporter! It's good to read this even if I was there because even if you think you've forgotten things you already remember more than I do

 

I preferred this recording session than the first one. They all seemed more relaxed and there were more interesting contestants; even for the ones who were not chosen, there were always thoughtful comments given by the coaches (well, for me the ones with better arguments are Mika and Zazie) I already want to see the show on TV now! Hoping they'll keep the best parts Melyssa talked about

 

It was nice seeing everyone and meeting new people, I had a great time with you and Mika was once more so amazingly kind, I'm shocked each time

Roll on round 2:

 

Let's say it: the star of the night wasn't Zazie anymore. Nor Mika. Nor Jenifer or Florent or even Nikos.

 

Nope, the star was our very welcome new fifth judge. She is quite hairy, and she could bark after the contestants like no one else. Hello Melachi!

We apparently went through a bit of drama with her, it seems that they had lost her during the first break, but the story ended well and he was quite proud to come back on set with her after break 2. Put her on his seat, made her push the buzzer, told us she was «preparing for a bigger role»... Some photograph was trying to take a pic of them standing with a «serious face» on the seat but she kept wanting Mika to hug her (oh yes, I know you can hear the «ooowwww» that came out of the audience as if you were there). She also won't stop yawning without putting her paw in front of her mouth, same master same dog .

He then put her on Florent's seat (he still hadn't come back from break), left her there and go back to his place. I am not sure the gift was adequately appreciated when Florent came back xD. (It was funny though, Jenifer was trying to call her, to make her react, and Mel was just staring at her blankly . She was probably a bit gutted, knowing how instantaneously Mel obbeys to Mika ). Off she went (after almost falling off the main stage) but as he told us later, we're gonna see her again: from now on she's going everywhere with him.

 

And yes, I am fully aware I just made quite a long opening talking about a dog.

 

For the rest, I'll be honest, it's quite a blur. I think my brain was too full already (told you it was tiny in there). I'd say the atmosphere was a bit different – not in a bad way (neither a good one, just a different one). First they were more relaxed, quite obviously now that the first one is done, and second he interracted a bit less with Zazie and a bit more with Jenifer and Florent tonight (which wasn't that hard as he mostly ignored them on saturday). Also he came back to be the one wining so his confidence went up – I think he won the first two ones against everyone as the four of them had turned. It was Zazie this time who spent half the night with no one coming in her team.

 

Already cutting to randomness, sorry:

 

I don't know if you remember the jungle book thingy from last year, but last night he gave us the 2015 version of it, and this time it is Cinderella's turn: Jenifer and Zazie are the two mean sisters, Florent is Cinderella () and he declared himself the white knight, no less!

Later there was also an incursion of the wizard of Oz in a complete mess, as he was trying to convince a contestant by going mad and scaring him

 

He was also talking far, far too much. He wouldn't stop, and even when he had to talk first and so the three others had to chat after, he still tried to talk again at the end. He even once took the floor without anything to say and ended up with a big silence xD. So the three others kept trying to keep him short and prevent him to talk a second time for every contestant, and I think at a point even the production team came to ask him to keep it short. I think he really didn't care tho (and also later him and Zazie were scold by producer for chatting to much as the contestants were about to sing so he was on a very chatty mood indeed).

Talking about it, at a point Zazie told the three others the order had changed for them to talk during debrief, and from now on Mika would be the last one to talk. He went on «Ah, finally things are as they should be, and I am the one having the last word!»

 

And ironically chatty boy managed to win a talent with the smallest argumentation ever (meaning no argumentation at all in fact). The guy was using a stage name and Mika asked for his real name, He told him «I can tell you mine if you want mine is Michael Holbrook Penniman»… and the guy answered «yes I knew that». From this point he knew he had won already and litterally said nothing (for once xD) as the other went on trying to win him (all of them had turned). But they could have done everything, the guy still went with Mika without a second thought.

 

As classics go the girls tried to strangle him «let's strangle him softly» "i have a lot of sisters you are not scaring me!" and he engaged a «leg fight» with Jenifer in the middle of the stage, «you know this game where you have to cross your legs with the other person very quickly?» she told us, «well, he's is always loosing! He's terrible at it!»

Jenifer at a point tried to push his buzzer as he was the only one not having turned for a singer yet, but he really didn't want to. They began to fight and their movement just activated the thing and the seat turned, he was gutted! He then had to pretend in front of the singer that he wanted her but found his way to make her not wanting to go with him by being quite mean about the song choice , and when they turned back he mimed to us «do you see what she has done (Jenifer)? You can testify?» and then passed his thumb on his throat in a «I am gonna cut her head off» way.

 

He almost ended up blind when hair styler lady put some hair spray on his head without warning «*ok wow you could have warned me!».

 

And oh he is back to buzzing with his feet and jumping on the seat by the way. He found a new way to press the button with his shoe by actually removing the shoe and using it as a hammer .

 

A little girl in the audience had a bracelet for him, so he jumped on the stairs, went to her, took his gift and went back on stage. Then people told him he could have at least give her a kiss, so he went up again to kiss her, happy lucky child.

 

At the beginning of the show (so obviously I talk about it last) they sang their opening song again, twice (well twice and a half as a light issue interrupted them). We saw right from this moment that they were quite excited, they were jumping everywhere in the wait of the song to begin, playing child games and running all over the place, and the producer asked the audience to stay calm and quiet but we were behaving, they were the one going bunkers

 

Also Kendji came to sing, and when commenting Mika made an incidental innuendo, ending with everyone asking him why he would want to show his parties to Kendji and Mika was completely lost, poor thing

 

I know a lot of other things happened, and it's terrible I can feel them floating in my head but I am unable to reach them. So if anything worth it comes back I'll tell you but for now that's all I can remember clearly enough.

 

 

So end of the show, off we go (he went to see the people on the side). We really didn't expect him to stop at the end as there were a lot of people (and scary people in fact, they kept shouting at him as he was still inside). So it was kind of unexpected to have him standing there all of a sudden, but again that was very sweet of him (by the way he asks everyone to stop feeding him for a while as his suit is already too tight for him XD).

C'est l'ébullition au studio du Lendit, à Saint-Denis. Et pour cause, la quatrième saison de The Voice est officiellement lancée avec les enregistrements des toutes premières auditions à l'aveugle. Des fans venus des quatre coins de la France, et même du Brésil et de la Slovaquie, ont fait le déplacement. Après de longues heures d'attente et notamment la prestation de Sœur Cristina (ndlr gagnante de The Voice en Italie), les coaches font enfin leur entrée. Alors que Mika est acclamé comme une rockstar, ce dernier est loin d'imaginer l'incroyable retournement de situation qui l'attend. Si comme Nathalie, une mère de famille de 44 ans, certains spectateurs se disent ''déçus'' du départ de Garou, l'arrivée de Zazie ne va pas passer inaperçue au cours de la soirée.

 

Outre la chanteuse, quelques nouveautés se sont également glissées dans cette nouvelle édition. ''On se croirait dans Star Trek'', se félicite même Nikos Aliagas en évoquant les fauteuils, qui ont ainsi été entièrement redessinés pour arborer des lumières et un écran au nom des coaches. En ce qui concerne le look de ces derniers : place à la sobriété. Exit le costume bleu de cobalt de Mika, ce dernier arbore désormais une tenue blanche immaculée. Florent Pagny, lui, a abandonné ses vestes en peau de reptiles pour leur préférer un blazer noir, très chic.

 

Zazie, une coach redoutable

 

Après une collégiale sur le titre ''Rue de la paix'', en l'honneur de Zazie, la tension monte : le premier talent entre dans l'arène. Une demoiselle lance la première note sur un titre de Clean Bandit, ''Rather Be''. Incontestablement, le niveau de cette quatrième édition est excellent, voire peut-être trop. De quoi rendre nos coaches très exigeants. Fini les coups de buzzer intempestifs et place à une sélection des plus drastiques. Les styles s'enchaînent, du rock à la soul en passant par la variété. Sia ("Chandelier"), Led Zeppelin ("Whole Lotta Love"), Fauve ("Infirmière") et même Claude François ("Alexandrie, Alexandra") ont droit à leur reprise.

 

Si Jenifer, Florent Pagny et Mika sont des coaches aguerris, l'exercice est plus difficile pour Zazie. Après une première élimination difficile à vivre, la chanteuse se prend rapidement au jeu. Très complice et taquine aux côtés de Mika, l'artiste fait d'ailleurs preuve d'une aisance déconcertante. ''Vous m'avez fait comprendre pourquoi j'ai accepté cette émission'', lance-t-elle à un jeune homme reprenant "Octobre" de Francis Cabrel.

 

D'ailleurs, Zazie use de toutes les stratégies pour séduire les candidats comme l'humour et la flatterie. Lors de cette première session, elle fait même avec Florent Pagny de l'ombre à Mika, qui n'a recruté que trois talents dans son équipe sur les 25 concurrents en compétition. Mais le coach a tout le temps de rattraper son retard puisque six sessions d'enregistrements sont prévues pour The Voice 4 dont le cru s'annonce déjà exceptionnel.

"The Voice" 4: Metronews attended the first blind auditions

TELECROCHET - The 4th season of "The Voice" has begun. In the TF1 telecrochet program there is: a new coach, new seats, but above all always amazing talents. Metronews smuggled into the registration of the first blind auditions and reports everything.

 

There's fibrillation in the Lendit to Saint-Denis studio. And it's for a good reason, the fourth season of The Voice started officially with the recordings of the first blind auditions. Fans rushed there from everywhere, from the four corners of France, and even from Brazil and Slovakia. After long hours of waiting and including the exhibition of Sister Cristina ( the nun, winner of the last The Voice in Italy), the coaches finally make their entry. While Mika is acclaimed as a rockstar, the latter is far from imagining the amazing turnaround that awaits him.

As Nathalie, a 44 years-old-mother , some member of the audience expressed "disappointment" forGarou's departures, the arrival of Zazie will not go unnoticed during the evening as well.

 

In addition to the female singer, some new features also appeared into this new edition. "It feels like being in Star Trek", announces happily Nikos Aliagas talking about the new chairs, which have been fully redesigned as well, in order to host new lights and a display showing the coaches' names. Talking about our coaches look: let's welcome sobriety. Out Mika's cobalt-blue suit, he now wears an immaculate-white suit. Florent Pagny forsakes his snake-leader-clothes to wear a black blazer, very nice.

 

Zaz is, a formidable coach

 

After a begin on the notes of "Rue de la Paix", in honor of Zazie, the tension increases: the first talent makes her entrance on stage. A girl starts with the first note of a Clean Bandit's song: "Rather be".

Without any doubt the level of this 4th edition is excellent, even too much. Something to repay our demanding coaches with. After the inadvertent buzz and after one of the most drastic selection. The styles are linked, from rock to soul passing through the variety.

Sia ("Chandelier"), Led Zeppelin ("Whole Lotta Love"), Fauve ("Infirmière") and even Claude François ("Alexandrie, Alexandra") is ok in this context.

 

If Jenifer, Florent Pagny, and Mika are seasoned coaches, the exercise is more difficult for Zazie. After experiencing a first difficult elimination, the singer enters quickly the game. Very complicit and teasing alongside with Mika, the artist demonstrated a disconcerting ease. "You made me understand why I accepted this show," she says to a young man singing "October" by Francis Cabrel.

 

Moreover, Zazie uses all strategies as humor and flattery, to seduce the candidates. At her first session, she together with Florent Pagny cast a shadow on Mika, who only convinced three, out of the 25 contestant in the competition, to join his team.

Anyway the coach has all the time to catch up, since six recording sessions are planned for The Voice 4, a season that's already an amazing one.

Hello, everybody!!

 

Well, I have no idea how to start here. There're so many things to write down that I really don't know from where I start. Ok, i'll start from the beginning... better.

 

Maybe some of you know, but i'm Paris for studies until december. Before left Brasil i looked if Mika would do some concert on Europe this time (of course!), but, sadly, there was nothing. Some weeks ago i saw a post on Mika's official page about places for The Voice recording... in Paris... on November... 2014. When i saw that i was like:

For real. I didn't passed off, but i went crazy, hardly.

I've got a message from Anne saying that Béatrice had extra entrances for the 1st day... of course i said YES! A huge, big, fat YES. It was like 1a.m. already, but i was so electric, like it was noon. In the following day, i've got in touch with these (really, really,..., really) lovely french fans to set up all the things.

 

It was real.

After almost 6 years and a failed try in São Paulo... for the 1st time in my life i would see Mika.

The 5 days before the dream-come-true-day went really fast and slow at the same time. My psychological preparation, my gift preparation, everything was special and had a way-too-good mean.

 

I must say that i don't remember the day of the program recording, just remember i'm at the queue meeting many special people for the 1st time of my life and, finely, meeting, in the real world, people that i used to talk with or read the comments here. Just the waiting line made my day. After a long time way from home, i felt like in a family, at home.

 

Ok. We got in.

WOW! it was a huge preparation. It's really pretty place.

But we all were looking for Mika's seat, of course. He's the 2nd from left and, guess what, we're at the left! THANKS GOD!

Lucia, Manon, Nadie and I made the party there. We sang, we danced... we did a really mess before the start of the recording.

Manon never saw Mika live as well... so, we were 2 that day.

yeah, you could touch the anxiously on the environment.

 

Like a thunder, in the middle of night, when nobody's waiting: Mika was on stage. and i was like:

I was like that for a few minutes.

Kidding. Just few seconds.

 

Gosh, Mika's HUGE! Ok, i've saw some videos, comments and stuff, but, when you see him LIVE... Gosh... now i can confirm, he has 1,92m... and the same proportion of high, he's cute, sweet, nice, fun etc etc etc... ok, so cliché to talk those things here.

 

The recording was sooo nice. Mika and Zazie made the best double ever. I already like her, her songs etc. But now, I like her more (and really hope for a featuring between them). The new talents were nice. Must say sometimes i was looking for nothing or to Mika wondering what the hell i was doing there. Really, i'm not normal...

 

Ok, facts: after 6 hours of recording i was sooooo hungry and tired.

 

A sandwich, some (delicious) home-made macarrons and some minutes of waiting outside the studio later, Mika's van stop at the entrance of the parking.

Another time i was like

Really. It was true.

One hand i was if a gift for him (an album of a brazilian singer, Daniela Mercury... of course) and, on the other hand, my flag and a pen. And I was like for some time... until i realize that was the real Mika just some few centimeters of me...

 

Ok, i forgot her name (sorry, please, don't heat me). But there was this super, lovely lady that said to Mika that I was from Brasil and it was my 1st time seeing him.

He just looked up (he was signing something), looked at me and said, with the most beautiful smile in the whole world: du Brésil?! (From Brazil?!)

 

I think i don't have to say it again... just an smilie to refresh your memory:

 

Few seconds later, when he said he was leaving, i said to him. That time i remembered that i also had voice (cool!) and i called him and said something that i have no idea now. For sure it was something stupid and in a horrible french, that i'm sure. There're two videos (already posted here) we talking to me and i'm trying to communicated like a normal human being (well, the most ~~normal~~ i can be).

I gave him the CD, which had a package with many post-its written "thanks" in different languages. And, then, he got the flag from my had and wrote "obrigado" ("thanks" in portuguese) on it.

And, to finished he said: "Oh, on my next album that will be a song called 'Rio'!".

i'm also from Rio de Janeiro. What you think, i was sooo, sooooooo shocked that i said "It's my city!"

In french "city", "ville" is feminine word, i should say "c'est mA ville!". But, what you guys think I said?

A person that went like that for, at least, 3 times that day...

I said "C'est mON ville".

It was better be like and that's all.

 

After all the jump, screaming, rouling on the ground, fireworks etc etc, i went to talk with everybody,hug, kiss etc etc.

Kidding, wasn't that much...

 

Well... that's me report of the 1st recording day, the 10th. It's so weird to make a report here. I thought that would take a while to be here... but, thanks God, i'm finely here.

I hope i could take some laughs of you and passed all the good things i was feeling.

 

 

I just wanna thanks all of you that make this happens. Really. If there was no MFC, MikaFrance or others pages, i would never see Mika in Paris.

Thanks for all the people involved on it, thanks for the reception, the patience etc... thanks, for real.

And, of course, thanks Mika. For everything.

Like a thunder, in the middle of night, when nobody's waiting: Mika was on stage. and i was like:

I was like that for a few minutes.

Kidding. Just few seconds.

 

Gosh, Mika's HUGE! Ok, i've saw some videos, comments and stuff, but, when you see him LIVE... Gosh... now i can confirm, he has 1,92m... and the same proportion of high, he's cute, sweet, nice, fun etc etc etc... ok, so cliché to talk those things here.

 

The recording was sooo nice. Mika and Zazie made the best double ever. I already like her, her songs etc. But now, I like her more (and really hope for a featuring between them). The new talents were nice. Must say sometimes i was looking for nothing or to Mika wondering what the hell i was doing there. Really, i'm not normal...

 

Ok, facts: after 6 hours of recording i was sooooo hungry and tired.

 

A sandwich, some (delicious) home-made macarrons and some minutes of waiting outside the studio later, Mika's van stop at the entrance of the parking.

Another time i was like

Really. It was true.

One hand i was if a gift for him (an album of a brazilian singer, Daniela Mercury... of course) and, on the other hand, my flag and a pen. And I was like for some time... until i realize that was the real Mika just some few centimeters of me...

 

Ok, i forgot her name (sorry, please, don't heat me). But there was this super, lovely lady that said to Mika that I was from Brasil and it was my 1st time seeing him.

He just looked up (he was signing something), looked at me and said, with the most beautiful smile in the whole world: du Brésil?! (From Brazil?!)

 

I think i don't have to say it again... just an smilie to refresh your memory:

 

Few seconds later, when he said he was leaving, i said to him. That time i remembered that i also had voice (cool!) and i called him and said something that i have no idea now. For sure it was something stupid and in a horrible french, that i'm sure. There're two videos (already posted here) we talking to me and i'm trying to communicated like a normal human being (well, the most ~~normal~~ i can be).

I gave him the CD, which had a package with many post-its written "thanks" in different languages. And, then, he got the flag from my had and wrote "obrigado" ("thanks" in portuguese) on it.

And, to finished he said: "Oh, on my next album that will be a song called 'Rio'!".

i'm also from Rio de Janeiro. What you think, i was sooo, sooooooo shocked that i said "It's my city!"

In french "city", "ville" is feminine word, i should say "c'est mA ville!". But, what you guys think I said?

A person that went like that for, at least, 3 times that day...

I said "C'est mON ville".

It was better be like and that's all.

 

After all the jump, screaming, rouling on the ground, fireworks etc etc, i went to talk with everybody,hug, kiss etc etc.

Kidding, wasn't that much...

 

Well... that's me report of the 1st recording day, the 10th. It's so weird to make a report here. I thought that would take a while to be here... but, thanks God, i'm finely here.

I hope i could take some laughs of you and passed all the good things i was feeling.

 

 

I just wanna thanks all of you that make this happens. Really. If there was no MFC, MikaFrance or others pages, i would never see Mika in Paris.

Thanks for all the people involved on it, thanks for the reception, the patience etc... thanks, for real.

And, of course, thanks Mika. For everything.
