I agree with you.In my opinion he wasn't "bitchy" for drama.He has made it clear he wants to be honest and hard (on them) to prepare them for the very hard/difficult work for the show and for the real world of music beyond it. He said to Emma: "you can’t be mediocre…, modernity, excellence, musical culture, provoke/inspire dreams too, this is your responsibility" To Mario: "this is not a piano bar, you're not the image of the pop star, you've got to do more. with you or is it all or nothing. I want to be very hard and honest with you and prepare you for this very hard work" To Diluvio: "your performance did suck, did completely suck. you can't present yourself in this way, because you have a very interesting quality, also a credibility. for this reason you are here. I like what you do when you're you". Yes, Mika has very quality standards and has learned to have a great discipline, so that's what he wants to convey to these guys (he did the same thing last year in XF7 and in The Voice France, too). I agree with Tiibet about what she said about being a bit disappointed with Fedez giving that Statement and yes Elwendin you are right there is no reason to talk about that in the beginning of live shows. It's not the first time he says certain things, even for provoke/irritate, in interviews or twitter. I saw the vids last night and I thin Viktoria chose the perfect Team, Fedez kept the boy I think could be the next winner, Morgan´s Teams is boring and two of Mika´s Team are really really good . Now I hope I can watch the whole show soon. From what I've read around, the favorites to win, at least for the moment, are Lorenzo, Emma and Mario (I like these two!).Also, Ilaria and Spritz for five.We'll see. I may be wrong, but if it did, well, this is acting bitchy, to me. (that part isn't in the short video on XF website, you need to watch the show to see it). Once someone treated me like that, and I didn't think "How nice of him, look, he's helping me." I felt like ****, especially when it comes from someone who's judging you. And I probably don't know how harsh "to suck" is in English, but in Italian it is unpolite and harsh and children are taught never to say it, cause it means to despise something or someone. Your English is excellent My comment was referring to the earlier translation, I haven't had time to watch the whole show and hear his tone and as I can't understand the language/true meaning I really can't have any strong opinion anyway. And I don't believe that he tried to create any tv drama either. He just spoke to them in a very serious tone like he always does especially at this stage of the competition, pointing out that they have to work really hard. Besides Mika certainly isn't the type the of person who would say hurtful comments. The singers that he chose are different and very interesting. I think Mario and Emma are the best contestants out of all the four teams this year. Very much looking forward to hearing how things will go during the live shows.
