Edit: lol, ok actually it's the same article than above, sorry, was lost because of the paper edition ;-)

Oh no why did you edit your post? It was the original article from which it was taken the one in the previous page. :wink2:

I've been thinking a lot these past few days about how fascinating it will be to watch this collaboration! Two people like Mika and Dario Fo who are amazingly talented and also so down-to-earth and kind working together is just super wonderful!

Can't wait! :original:

Tonight, on RAI1, there will be a little preview (without Mika) of the show that will be aired on 22th June... While on RAI3 there will be an entire show dedicated to Dario Fo.

I'll let you know if he'll talk about Mika! :wink2:

Thanks! Unfortunately I came too late, he was only standing on stage, listening to the woman :aah: (that was beautiful actually)

What did he do?

He gave a preview of his new show. He spoke about pope Francesco, saying, among the other things, that he's often been discredited because he stood up against the powerful business world. He gave quite an interesting speech really.

If anyone wants to read the novel before the show in June, I have the English translation of it made by Mario Pirovano who brought the show in many theaters in England.

In this way, you can understand what they will say in Italian (let's think that it's like a "booklet" that they give you when you go to see an italian opera) :wink2:

Here's the link:

If you want to follow the novel in Italian, here's the original version:

I'd like to thank you again for this now that I've just finished my reading, and enjoyed it quite a lot. I didn't expect to laugh that much (or to laugh at all, actually), nor did I expect it to be that contemporary, and that provocative in its way. I don't really know what I did expect in fact xD.

So now I found myself quite enthusiastic about this show that I didn't half understood 15 days ago, thanks to you :flowers2:

There's a live player online for Rai1

http://www.regarddirect.fr/tv/country-18/live/rai-uno.htm

Right now it's a football game so it says copyrights forbid to watch it , but hopefully not for Mika and Dario show.

I think some people here on MFC will record the show :fisch:

Then, I don't know about you, but with my internet / TV acess, I've got Rai 1: with the Freebox it's channel 543. So if you've got the channel on your TV, you can also record it at home :thumb_yello:

Anyway, don't worry, I'm almost sure that there will be a video here on MFC very soon after the show :wink2:

Dario Fo su Rai1 domenica 22 giugno: "Il mio Francesco e Papa Bergoglio uniti dal coraggio". Dialogo con Mika

Scritto da: Fabio Traversa - mercoledì 18 giugno 2014

http://realityshow.blogosfere.it/post/538787/dario-fo-su-rai1-domenica-22-giugno-il-mio-francesco-e-papa-bergoglio-uniti-dal-coraggio-dialogo-con-mika

Has this already been posted?

"I hope to realize a whole show with Mika. We have already recorded something, everything depends on time and chances. He has a huge gift: the boldness to tell and stay inside humanity facts (litteral translation. I might not have a clue on what he means).

Before the show, there will be a 5 minutes convo between the two of them (the whole 40 minutes version is going to be available on June 23th on Rai.TV)

And:

"Il Corriere della Sera announces that the show will be broadcasted on Rai1 on June 22th. Dario Fo and Mika recorded a 45 minutes dialog about contemporary issues. Only 15 minutes of it will be aired, during which they will talk about Pope Francesco as well. The singer's presence is due at the opening of the show, even if it's possible that he will come back later, during the show. "
