Dee, you wear me out with your dedication! And you know wearing me out is a difficult thing to do!

Now you know why i hardly sleep some nights :teehee:

Are you sure Mika was actually at the Butterfly Lounge? I honestly don't recall him ever going there. I've seen photos that people marked as "Mika at the Butterfly Lounge," but they weren't taken there, the caption is wrong. The owner of the Butterfly Lounge, Kathleen, was a Big Girl once, and she used to post here occasionally -- I don't  remember her saying that Mika had actually been there.

This is Kathleen with Mika here from your tumblr, Dee.

http://mikakreacher.tumblr.com/post/12533250543

She put her logo on the pic, but it wasn't taken at the Butterfly Lounge. It was taken at the Virgin Megastore signing in early 2007.

And here's where she writes on the MFC:

http://www.mikafanclub.com/topic/17160-hello-everyone-from-the-butterfly-lounge/?p=1130819

Origin of Love actor and actress are listed in the opening credits of the video: Jorge Arecheta and Daniela Ramirez.   :thumb_yello:

Still researching the others...

Thank you thank you thank you!  The logo really threw me, didn't realize the pics were taken at the virgin event.  And not once did it occur to me to actually watch the OOL video to find out the cast   i just saw it once when it came out

this guy https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/ef/e6/bd/efe6bdbc87dce8132ee06c420193ffc7.jpg is the same as this guy https://twitter.com/ttultimateforum/status/440055722437804032 ?

i think it's a YES! this seems to confirm it

LeiRe You get 1000 gold stars for figuring his name out!

thank you so much! i wouldn't have guessed that in a million years :aah:

If you don't know it already I think the name of the old man is Patrice Pujol

http://www.dynamite-talents.fr/artist/details_63.html

Can't find the name of the woman :dunno:

Amazing work you have done! All the time and effort, it's amazing. Thank you so much, it's very helpful :flowers2:

I understand why it's necessary to categorise Åhlund and Åkerlund under A, but as a swede it makes me so uncomfortable since the letter å is normally at the very end of the swedish alphabet :aah:

Yup got him & all the others already, but those two ladies are so mysterious!

Oh no i'm sorry, i don't know the Swedish alphabet :aah: Would it be better to change the Å's to A's?

You're welcome btw, and thank you for your compliment. It makes me so happy to know the encyclopedia is helping people :D

Yeah I thought you might. The ladies on the other hand no clue...

Don't worry, it not really that useful knowledge :aah: No I don't think so, the names are spelled with Å's and not A's so that's is how I they should be spelled in the list.

Yeah so much stuff I don't know :D

We have the same in Norway - Å is the last letter in the alphabet. This å is also the last letter in my second name. The solution with writing this letter, except from in the Scandinavian countries, is to write it as a double a - aa, then it will be read as an å...

Hope I didn't confuse too much now, hehe :-)

Love,love

I don't know his name.

The drummer guy who played yesterday in Seoul, I guess he was in TAY video.

Probably, Mika will introduce the drummer tomorrow's Seoul Jazz Festival.

-what are the names of the two older actresses in the "Elle Me Dit" video?

-what was the name of the overture the OSM played each night before Mika came on?

-who the drummer in the "Talk About You" video & at the showcase in Seoul?

Dee,

I wish I could tell you for sure about Leffe beer -- I just don't know if it was ever sold to the general pubiic.

I'm almost positive the first time "Love You When I'm Drunk" was played live was at Webster Hall on 10/15/12:

https://youtu.be/PGN7O9ibJj4

I'll have to research a bit to find I'll See You...

The little overture played before the OSM concerts was a custom-written piece, as ai recall reading... I'll see if I can find it...

Ok thanks for veryifing the first play of LYWID was at webster hall, thought so but i wasnt sure.

i KNOW i read somewhere what the overture was but now i can't find it again >.<

Thanks again for all your help! Sometimes i think i'm like the least qualified person to write this thing :aah:

Joy posted a pic on Instagram from Seoul with name tags for all band members... But I couldn't make out his name :/

Thanks for telling me!  i can't see this picture since i'm not following her (don't have a smartphone) so can somebody please post it here or in the band thread or something?

BTW i added some entries, added to extended info posts, and edited a lot in minor ways no one will probably notice  :aah:  More to come of course!  Also, i discovered the character limit per post is 70,000 or so :teehee:

LOL! Well, hopefully you won't need to exceed that overall, but lmk and we'll see what we can do.

Also, I just went through and cleared out the Photo Gallery: http://www.mikafanclub.com/gallery/

During the site migration, we lost a lot of image files and other uploads -- some files were corrupted, some seem to have vanished. A lot of the captions for the photos seem to have disappeared, and all of the old photos were lumped into one folder, owned by Sunny Monkey, who was the original owner of MFC. There's not a lot I can do about that, but I have created new categories for any uploaded photos going forward. Anyway, my point in telling you this, Dee, is that there is a lot of historical info in those old photos -- not sure if you've ever looked through them, but they are another resource for your research, I think. :thumb_yello:

Finally, you don't have to have a smartphone to look at someone's Instagram pics, as long as you know their user name. Here's Joy's account:

https://instagram.com/joylibrary/

I don't remember ever seeing the pic Cath talks about and it doesn't seem to be there now -- maybe she took it down? She's posted several pics of Lewis, but never mentioned his last name that I can see, sorry.

I exceeded it in one post, but it's okay I just moved some letters to the next post.

Thanks for the photo gallery info, i'll definitely check it out!

When I go to Joy's account i get this: "This user is private. You need to be following joylibrary to like or comment."

info i need:

-when was the first time Mika played "I See You" live?

-any quotes Mika said about "Tah Dah", "Lover Boy", "Pick Up Off The Floor", "Ring Ring", or "Stuck In The Middle"?

As far as I can tell, I think the first time I See You was performed live was in Toronto on Oct. 12, 2009, when Mika kicked off the tour to support TBWKTM.

I can't find any videos of it any earlier than this one:

He talks about Lover Boy -- at least, the making of it -- here:

I know I've heard him talking a little about Stuck in the Middle several times, just have to remember when...

Not sure I've ever heard or read him say anything about Ring Ring or Tah Dah... gives me something to think about. :naughty:

Dee, the Montreal OSM program has some info about "Toy Boy" in it that you may find useful.

Thank you Deb, you've solved the mystery! And thanks for the other info too, i'll add it soon

Kez, wrong boy :aah: i need Lover Boy, not Toy Boy. And i already added the OMS song explanations anyway :teehee:
