The studio is for film and televisions, it's very interesting.

Imaginarium Tour 2010 was visually beautiful !

I've been considering adding the following people/things, but I'm not sure they deserve entries/extended entries yet.

NEW ENTRIES I MIGHT ADD: Audi (because of the event in Austria), David Walliams & Matt Lucas (Mika appeared at an event with them & talked of their tv show Little Britain), the "break the silence" thing, Eel Pie island, Zachary Quinto (he attended a gig), Property Bros (one of them attended a gig), Tintin, Astro Boy, Donald Duck, Jungle Book

ENTRIES I MIGHT ADD TO EXTENDED POSTS: add Beck to influences/other people post, all of the other X Factor/The Voice judges to influences/other people post, radio DJs Nick Grimshaw, Dermot O’Leary & Paul Gambaccini to influences/other people post, Kristin Chenoweth to collaborators, Paul McCartney to friends post (or influences?), Rufus Wainwright to influences/other people post, SxSw to projects/other stuff post, Fleetwood Mac to influences/other people post, Paul Simon to influences/other people post

Any opinions, concerns, suggestions?

PLEASE NOTE: usually i use google docs to work on the encyc & stuff at home on my tablet, but that no longer works. while i figure out a better option i'll try to keep up with the edits but since i'm more limited now i might have to cut back.

Hi I'd like to ask a question. I have just noticed the description on a youtube video (mikas piano lullaby) the girl says mika dedicated it to her. I still don't believe her but who knows. Is it true?

Here's the video

it's not a real Mika song. Here's what Babs herself said when somebody asked on her MFC wall:

agathaxxx → babspanky

hi!!  :D Are you bab5panky on youtube? I came across your 'babs lullaby' vid! It IS a joke rite?  :P or did he actually compose that piece? coz i think another youtuber had it as well. im confused...... =S

babspanky → agathaxxx

Yeah it's a joke. The other user said that it was written by Mika but it's not at all but they wouldn't admit it so I just posted it as a joke lol. Seems to have had a few hits though haha.

May 04 2010 12:39 PM

Perhaps I'll add it to the encyclopedia because the question seems to pop up every so often.

EDIT: Added!

 ----------------------------

One part of the encyc outgrew the character limit again, so i had to relink some things when i moved info around and added another post. Please comment if you find a messed up link.

DONE THE WEEK OF 10/22 - 10/28: added some new entries, edited others, moved around a bunch now so it'll make it easier next time i outgrow a post, i forget now but i did other stuff too.

-------------------------------------------------------------

DONE THE WEEK OF 12/3 - 12/9: i discovered i can disable my signature on a post by post basis so i went through and removed it from most of my actual Mikapedia posts to make scrolling down the page a little faster (sorry to all the Mika abs fans!), added one lone new entry, updated all the extended info posts.

-------------------------------------------------------------

DONE IN THE WEEKS OF 12/10 - 12/23: proofread a lot, changed and added information (especially to MIKA’s and the BAND’s extended entries), added three new encyclopedia entries, moved a few people from FRIENDS to other extended posts because it got too long.

-------------------------------------------------------------

DONE IN THE WEEKS OF 4/6 - 5/4: put quotes in spoilers in the Quotes By Mika post and the Quotes About Mika post because the posts were getting way too long, added new quotes and photos of various things, did a bunch of little updates to stuff, etc.

-------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone can please tell me these things i'll be in your debt!

INFO I NEED HELP WITH:

  • Was Mika Leffe beer actually sold to the public?
  • Where was the Dodgy Holiday EP recorded?
  • What are the names of the two older actresses in the "Elle Me Dit" video?
  • What was the name of the overture the Montreal Symphony played each night before Mika came on?
  • Are there any interesting quotes Mika said about the songs/albums: the Dodgy Holiday EP, "Tah Dah", "Your Sympathy", "Pick Up Off The Floor", "Stuck In The Middle", his cover of "Satellite", "Hia Leah", “Beautiful Disaster”, and/or “Feels Like Love”,?
  • Are there any interesting interesting quotes Mika said about the people/places/things: Paul de Leeuw, Dermot O’Leary, Alber Elbaz, Graham Norton, Karol Sakr, Luke Juby, David Whitmey? Or quotes these people said about Mika?
  • Where can I find the quote Mika said about Adele being his neighbor? (it was from an interview within the past couple years i think)
  • What were the names of the string players onstage with Mika on his acoustic tour in 2009 and at some of his 2011 dates?
  • Where is Mika’s “i’m like a clumsy duck” quote from?
  • What are the names of more of the bands/singers that opened for Mika on his past tour dates?

I keep trying to find answers for you, Dee, but so far no luck. But I know THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE! :naughty:

I looked at the list of tour dates you have (nice job!) and I can fill in some other opening acts:

:cheer:

just posted some updates & updated the "to add" list :thumb_yello:

what does she have to do with Mika?

As far as the HMV in store performances in 2007 are concerned, there were no support acts.

I'm sure that Palladium played support in Newcastle and Doncaster in 2007 too.

Itune festival in 2009 Erik Hassel supported

At The Eden Project sessions in 2010, Diane Vickers supported.

Thank you for finding these! The Williamsburg Hia Leah i've got saved doesn't have his talking at the beginning.

aww thank you  :blush-anim-cl:

i updated a buuunch bunch yesterday, but i'll update his entry with the Grenoble gig ASAP.

Thanks for finding those releases, I looked for some but didn't find anything.

The Pure Trance 2 disc doesn't seem to be our Alex, i think it showed up on your results because one of the artists on it is named Stuart Millar and there's several Alexs.

The other looks very promising, especially since Alex is definitely went Cambridge from 2003-2008 :thumb_yello:

Hi! Can I contribute to this encyclopedia?

There's a Korean Orchestra Edition of No Place In Heaven. Same tracklist as the French re-issue, but includes a 300 pieces jigsaw puzzle.

Sources: http://www.yesasia.com/us/mika-no-place-in-heaven-orchestra-edition-2cd-korea-version/1047689420-0-0-0-en/info.html

There's a Korean Tour Edition of Origin of Love with 17 songs + DVD.
You can find the full tracklist here: http://www.yesasia.com/us/mika-the-origin-of-love-cd-dvd-tour-edition-limited-edition-korea/1033078687-0-0-0-en/info.html

I don't know the deluxe edition of The Boy Who Knew Too Much you refer to in your post (maybe a different one). But the one I have, and it's available in several countries has the Live at Sadler's Wells Bonus Disc, doesn't have Lady Jane and has Lover Boy as #13.

The Korean Edition of TBWKTM has a different bonus track of the other editions:

13. Love Today (Live from Sadler's Wells, London/2009)

Besides the TBWKTM Asian Tour Edition with the tofu figure (which I think is blue and not white, but maybe there's another one), there's an edition with 7 tofu stickers.
Figure: http://www.yesasia.com/us/the-boy-who-knew-too-much-asia-tour-edition-2cd-tofu/1022767416-0-0-0-en/info.html

Is it ok to add this kind of info here, if I find something else?
BTW, I can't really find information about the LICM Asian Tour Edition that is mentioned on Wikipedia. Does anybody know something about this?

Hi! Can I contribute to this encyclopedia?

BTW, I can't really find information about the LICM Asian Tour Edition that is mentioned on Wikipedia. Does anybody know something about this?

Life In Cartoon Motion [ Asian Tour Edition ] has never been published, it's a fake information. ( I'm from Japan )

Original stickers are in Life In Cartoon Motion [ Japanese the First Edition ].
