"KIDS ARE GOLDEN" to support Imagine for Margo Association

Hi everybody

You probably all remember that Mika is involved in the association "Imagine for Margo" dedicated to find and collect funds to help the research for the cancer of children.

He did a lot for the children and to promote this association.

Every year the association organises a running/walking "race" opened to anybody that can collect a minimum of 200€ as donation for the association.

This year 4 fans of Mika are already registered for the race that will take place near Paris on Sunday 25th September

We have created a group for the race and for the collect named "KIDS ARE GOLDEN"

Maybe few other fans will participate. But also more fans will come to Paris to support us the day of the race.

The objective is of course to collect as much as possible to help the research.

Everyone can support either by sending money to the association (link of our group below) or even just spreading around them or sending msg of support.

Every single Euro is important
Please do not mind which person of the group you will support as all the money collected will go to the association.
In priority please support persons who still have not yet collected 200€ that is the minimum to be able to participate to the race.

Mika did a lot for this cause and we, his fans, will do our best to give our contribution as a big family ❤

Oh my godness, that is really beautiful and i'm completly fan of this initiative ! I wish i could be here and above everything I wish i could participate but I'm really sorry i have to move in two weeks and I still don't know how Will i pay the rent.... I really support you with all my heart and all my familly agree to wish you the best for this race and the biggest amount of money for this wonderful association.

If you are not French and have taxable friends in France you can think of taking advantage of the rule of " tax deduction" by asking  one taxable person to pay for you
I give some explanation:donations to charities are deductible in 66 % of the amount of the taxes, it is just necessary to think of downloading the receipt on the site and  indicating the amount on the tax form (if I remember well it is on the back page)
If the person who pays for you gives 10 euros (it is 1 easy example)  this person can deduct 6euros60 from taxes.
Thus you have to give to him(her) only 4euros40 to reward
It allows to give more for the same investment...

 

 

 

Pour les étudiants (ou si vous n'etes pas Français)vous pouvez penser à faire marcher la règle de la déduction fiscale en demandant à une personne imposable de payer pour vous
Je m'explique :les dons sont déductibles à 66% du montant des impots ,il faut juste penser à télécharger le reçu sur le site et à indiquer le montant sur la feuille d'impot (si je me rappelle bien c'est sur la dernière page)
Si la personne qui le fait pour vous met 10 euros (c'est 1 exemple facile ) elle va pouvoir déduire 6.60EUR de ses impots .
Donc vous n'avez à lui donner que 4.40EUR pour la rembourser.....
Du coup ça permet de donner plus pour le meme investissement...

 

 

se non siete francese ed avete degli amici imponibili in Francia voi potete pensare a utilisare la regola della deduzione fiscale chiedendo ad una persona imponibile di pagare per voi
Mi spiego: i doni sono deducibili al 66% dell'importo delle tasse, bisogna pensare appena a teletrasmettere la ricevuta sul sito ed ad indicare l'importo sul foglio di tassa,
Se il nessuno che lo fa per voi mette 10 euros, (è 1 esempio facile), va a potere dedurre 6euros60 delle sue tasse.
Dunque non avete a dargli che 4euros40 per rimborsarla.....
Del colpo ciò permette di dare più per lo stesso investimento...

One more important thing is that everyone in the group has to reach 200 euros to be allowed to run (even if all the money goes to "imagine for Margo"

So if you want to give something ,please support in priority the ones who did'nt collect 200 euros so far

dunque se volete dare, per favore dare a quelli che non ha raccolto 200 euros

 

Une autre chose importante :chaque personne doit collecter 200 euros minimum pour pouvoir participer à la course ,meme si tous les dons restent acquis à "Imagine for Margo"

Donc si vous souhaitez participer ,s'il vous plait ,choisissez de donner sur une collecte qui n'a pas encore atteint les 200 euros

The race "Imagine For Margo" took place yesterday so it is time to give you some news on this specific action ;

 

First of all, thank you to all of you who supported the action of our group by participating to our collect and/or coming yesterday to support and/or spreading around you our messages during the action. I think we can be proud of the MIKA fans family as we, "KIDS ARE GOLDEN" collected 3,105 €

 

The race took place in a very very nice park at St Cloud (bordering Paris) with over 4,000 paticipants running or walking in a very pleasant atmosphere.

 

In our group we were 10 participants all with Imagine for Margo tshirt and with our stickers on : Alexandra, Anne-Claire, Ani, Cerise, Charlie, Joelle, Laura, Maggie, Manon and me ;

 

We agreed we would do our own race individually but we'd wait for everyone before the end and to reach together the finish line what we did ; a nice moment  

 

During the race we were supported by some other fans who came from far for some of them. A good occasion to meet again.

 

We were also lucky because the rain only arrived after the race

 

After the race there was a speech thanking all the participants and sponsors, volonteers, also special words for the lost children since last year - very touching moment ;

 

Then they announced the total amount collected during this campaign : 1,331,000 € totally dedicated to the research

A very nice day at St Cloud under a beautiful weather - it rained a bit after the run but only for like five minutes and that was just a few drops, really, and most importantly the run itself took place under a lovely sun.

 

We laughed, we shared some tears, we danced, we supported for some, ran for others... I am really happy to have been there and will definitely be there next year.

It was a very nice day ,sunny weather for the run time and some showers afterwards

Lot of emotion and joy at the same time, with everybody involved in this cause

Hello here !! I am allowing myself to bump this thread to let you know that this year again, a group of Mikafans will be running for the cause, and you’re all very welcome to join and support !

 

 

It will be on Sunday 24th september at St cloud (same place as ever), so if you’re near Paris on this day and have a little time to spare, feel free to come and join the supporters band, and then all of us wil share a nice picnic all together after the race as usual 

 

 

You can also support from wherever you are in the world by making a donation – even one euro matters !  You’ll find the donation page HERE – know that we’re running as a group but each runner needs 200€ minimum to be allowed to take the start so in priority please support persons who still have not yet collected 200€ 

 

 

And then last but not least, you can also support by joining the race ! The link is the same as given above, and the group is open to everyone who is ready to get sweaty !!
