Gerard Daguerre playing piano is a musician who was playing with Barbara for 17 years till her death in 1997. Depardieu and Daguerre created an album of 14 songs of Barbara. One of them "A Force de"... written by Guillaume Depardieu - Gerard's son (died in 2008). Mika has been a big fan of Barbara since he was a child. Gérard Depardieu a multiplié les déclarations d’amour envers celle avec qui il interpréta la pièce musicale Lily Passion en 1986. Gérard Daguerre fut le compagnon de route de Barbara pendant dix-sept ans, jusqu’à sa disparition le 24 novembre 1997. L’acteur et le musicien se sont retrouvés à Précy-sur-Marne, chez Barbara, pour enregistrer un disque, quatorze chansons créées par la « Dame en Noir », de "Nantes" à "À force de"… écrite par Guillaume Depardieu pour Barbara. Ils l’ont immédiatement porté en scène. Pour Barbara, la scène était sacrée. À fleur de peau, avec une infinie discrétion, la voix de Depardieu s’est unie au piano de Gérard Daguerre pour une série de dix concerts exceptionnels donnés en février à guichets fermés au Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord. Après un accueil public et critique dithyrambique, Gérard Daguerre et Gérard Depardieu poursuivront leur cycle magique au Cirque d’Hiver du 7 au 15 novembre 2018.
