It was the MIKA coach who decided to put two young Talents from his team into vocal confrontation: Albi vs London Loko on a title of the group Therapie Taxi ft Romeo Elvis, "Hit Sale".

Après trois “ prime time ” sur TF1 à quatre ou cinq millions de téléspectateurs, l’aventure “ The Voice ” s’est arrêtée samedi pour Clem. Qui a déjà rebondi.

 

On le reconnaît désormais dans la rue. « Ça fait bizarre, mais on s’habitue, c’est plutôt cool », s’amuse Clem Chouteau, le chanteur tourangeau, originaire de Josnes (Loir-et-Cher), éliminé de « The Voice » sur TF1, samedi soir. S’il n’a pas été retenu par Mika à l’issue des battles, le Tourangeau de 21 ans a eu le temps de s’en remettre, le tournage de la dernière émission ayant eu lieu en janvier. Il promet ne jamais avoir été déçu. « C’était tellement valorisant, j’ai pris confiance en moi, j’ai gagné en expérience personnelle… J’ai très peu stressé, même devant les caméras et les juges que, finalement, j’ai très vite oubliés. L’équipe était toujours bienveillante, à nous rassurer, nous dire que si on en était là, ce n’était pas pour rien. »

Longtemps, il pourra puiser sa force dans les compliments des coachs. Ainsi celui de Soprano qui l’a vu « retourner les stades » ou de Mika qui lui a reconnu la possibilité d’écrire les chansons que lui-même aurait voulu composer.
Trois émissions, c’est trois semaines de tournage, rappelle encore Clem. Un temps précieux pour progresser. « Car si “ The Voice ” est un tremplin, c’est aussi une école. J’ai beaucoup appris scéniquement et vocalement. Il y avait toujours beaucoup de professionnels pour nous entraîner sur les jeux de scène ou la maîtrise de notre voix. »
Depuis, l’artiste tourangeau a cessé de « sauter un peu partout sur scène », écoutant les conseils de Jenifer qui lui avait reproché d’être trop théâtral et pas assez spontané. Sa voix également a mûri. « J’ai compris que je pouvais faire de belles choses dans les graves. J’ai l’impression d’avoir trouvé mon style, de moins copier d’autres artistes. »
 

La Fête de la musique, place Plum’

Sa priorité désormais ? Son groupe, The Lunatiks, en passe de signer avec un label parisien pour un deuxième EP. La première retombée de « The Voice », mais il y en a d’autres. Dont un rêve qui se réalise : « On fera la Fête de la musique, place Plum’ à 21 h 30, en plein milieu du carré ! »
Le 18 mai, le groupe se produira à la salle des fêtes de Josnes , le village d’enfance de Clem. L’agenda se remplit peu à peu, « même si on a décidé d’arrêter de démarcher les salles pour mieux se consacrer à notre EP. » Autre fierté pour l’artiste naissant : être devenu le parrain de l’antenne tourangelle de La Chaîne de l’espoir, qui opère des enfants cardiaques n’ayant pas accès aux soins dans leur pays. « Une cause qui me tient vraiment à cœur. »
L’émission ? « Je la conseille à tous. Car il n’y a rien de malsain, que de la bienveillance. » Même sur les réseaux sociaux, il n’a rien lu de méchant à son égard, malgré près de 5.000 messages reçus. Quant à prendre la grosse tête, il s’en est bien gardé. « Il y a cinq ans, j’avais fait les auditions de “ The Voice ”, j’avais beaucoup travaillé et je me voyais déjà… J’ai pris une tellement grosse claque que ça m’a servi de leçon. » Il a compris que les candidats de « The Voice » sont très vite oubliés, « qu’il faut y aller pour apprendre, prendre des contacts, rencontrer des gens qui peuvent vous aider. » Mais que ça allait retomber. « On ne peut pas devenir des stars alors qu’on n’a pas encore sorti d’album ! »
