They used to call me "The Lebanese", "the faggot"... At the end of the class I never left the classroom with the others because I knew if I did they were going to hit me and not only with words this time but things, with objects, with cans and stones in my head... I would like to say that I haven't been left with scars from of that period of my life but it would be a lie... And of course I was left with scars. 3 5

He would certainly be an executive in a bank or geographer. 3

I am sure it is better I understand now that you meant But I think the way they were brought up by their family the Penniman children could not not be unconventional and creative. Basically their mother's philosophy was that life has so many ups and downs that if you can create something with your hands/art you will always survive no matter what happens...as their families' lives have always been about travelling from one country to another and starting a new life from nothing each time. Somehow I am reminded of The Glass Menagerie and Tenessee Williams's life. His parents wanted him to work in a shoe factory but he was bored to death by that work and kept writing all nights and ended up becoming a famous writer. I feel the same about Mika: ordinary life was not for him (as his lyrics say in Rain) But going through all those very difficult periods in his life certainly increased his sensitivity and enhanced the natural gift he already had for making songs bursting with feelings and emotions that grab our heart and heal it in a catharsis. Because if they show only a video we know already we could not learn more about he wanted to mention. So I have to open wide my eyes tomorrow at the Paris airport Last week I was coming to Paris - he was leaving to Italy. This time I am coming back home Maybe he will be flying to Paris? And I will watch the program in the evening. 2
