Mika talking about "galette de roi" and a "feve" he found only once.

And a golden piece (a feve) he kept till now - ah, so sweet....

I think there is no covers because the negative voice from british listeners. One of the comment under post about Mika's The Art of Song was something like: Good, but hopefully he won't sing. :emot-sad:

I love this song. :wub2: I know it from the TV-Series "Smallville" (about the Teenage Years of Superman), which I used to watch regularly, and rediscovered it online years later, because sometimes it still kept playing in my head, so I googled it to find out the title & band. :lol3:

I couldn't listen today, so thanks everyone for the song list, will listen to the replay. I don't like the list as much as the last one, with a few exceptions... and I think it's several songs he has played before in this show... well, I'll listen to his comments first before giving my thoughts about that. :naughty:

Happy new year everybody! :yay:

I enjoyed MIKAs last radioshow yesterday - in my sofa, because of a bad cold.  It was really very nice!   Of course I was a bit disappointed, like most of you, that we didn't get any live performance, from behind Elton Johns piano.  But the opening song with T.Rex set the standard for great pop from the 70ies :fisch: I could hardly believe that he didn't know Tom Pettys "Learning to fly" - until he heard it on the radio, whilst driving in the US!  It's my fav.song with him - so sad that he's not among us anymore :tears: In the evening I was lucky,  and could watch the amazing new British TV doc. "Above us only sky" about John & Yoko - from 2018, broadcasted from our NRK2.

A really great "music start" for 2019...

Love, love
