Christmas trees 2018

In the early days of MFC we always had a thread where fans posted photos of their Christmas trees.  I thought it might be nice to revive the tradition

 

Just to start things off, here's my tree, with and without lights

 

 

As you can see, it's a very old artificial tree and getting very sparse now   But they say if you can keep an artificial tree for 10 years, its carbon footprint is neutral, so ours has done well for the environment.

 

We've had different stars at the top, but always on the tree is Father Christmas.  He used to be red but the colour has long gone, but he is a much-loved ornament.

It's my Christmas tree  

we added the train of my grandfather and the snow man of my godmother. I also have decoration from my great grandmother.

 

I added Mika in the tree

I have a white one with multi-colored lights.  I decorate it with butterflies, colorful birds, gold and pink ornaments, and crochet stars.

That's mine… I've handmaded the creche with a recycled fruits cage

Some of the characters are from Patagonia ,while one is just coming from the kitchen
