It was a good idea (the flasmob), but it's not the right context (the concert). It is normal for people who are in "pit" and hope to be closer to the scene do not want to lose their place in the queue. Only numbered fans in place may be interested. Thank you to everyone who visited this thread. The idea may be resumed for another occasion. It seems to me that it is better to leave each concert the possibility of organizing something. mellody Posted July 31, 2019 Share Posted July 31, 2019 Yes, why not just wait until the time of the (big) concerts gets closer. The idea might not work at the US gigs, but I'm sure once the album is out and the European tourdates get closer, there'll be more people on here who might want to take part at one or two of the big gigs. To me, the tour still seems so far away, and I'm sure a lot of other fans feel the same and just haven't even considered taking part yet. Worries about losing the place in the queue surely is an argument as well - but at a standing gig like London we could do it around noon, then everyone can go back to their places afterwards. And in Paris a lot of fans have seated places, I think it's just too early now. Maybe MFCers could practise and shoot a video before the concert (while queing) and after (while waiting for Mika) or when they have meetings and make a long video of all fan actions and share it on youtube and instagram.
