Beyrouth, 1983, Michael is looking the dust stars which look after him on the sky,
In his mother’s arms,  protective and reassuring,
Both of them Lost in the ruines of a city divided between despair and hope,
Between economical poverty and extreme cultural wealth.

People live as they never lived
No matter their difficulties
Beyrouth, city of contrast, of « Qalb » ( heart) and « hayat » (life)
A world-open and multicultural city.

Beyrouth-Paris, odyssey beggins for little Michael's family,
Beyrouth-Paris, itinerants life starts.
Square Lamartine, avenue Kléber, avenue Henri Martin, la Tour Eiffel
These places will become Michael’s ones.

Eight years had passed and Michael should leave the happiness square,
He goes to London, against his will,
He knows it, his life will change,
Paris-London, the trip goes on.

Paris-London, pop travel,
At Beatles,
Bowie and Freddie Mercury's country,
London, cosmopolitan city,

Londres, city of silence,
Of withdrawn,
City of sufferings,
But city of love too.
