Google is telling me that 9am BST is 8am GMT (UK time), is that right? I want to be 100% sure for when I get up in the morning on the 24th, because I'm planning on getting up super early and staring at my phone until the tickets go live! 😁

Also how does this work? I'm assuming it will be a code to use on YouTube on the day of the concert 🤔

BST = British Summer Time, so that's 9am in the UK. 10am in Europe. Anyway that's how I understand it.

As mellody said, 9am BST is 9am UK time -- so that means it will be 4am for those of us on Eastern time in the US. 10am for Central Europe.

We'll have more details soon, but check out this link:

https://shops.ticketmasterpartners.com/mika-livestream

As you can see, you'll be able to buy your tickets according to the time zone you will be viewing in. There should be plenty of tickets available for each time zone/livestream, so don't panic! Do buy your tickets as soon as you can, but don't worry that they will "run out" right away.

I'm assuming that, as you said, you'll get a code that you'll need to enter when you go to YouTube on 19th September to watch the livestream.

As soon as I hear anything more I'll let you all know!

I saw that if you proceed it says:

"You’ll need the ability to stream audio and video. A link with details on how to join will be emailed to you 1 hour before the event. All times are displayed in your local time zone."

So maybe it'll be individual links that can only be used by one person?

And it gives the time with 2 hours, 9-11pm CET in my case.

Ah, I only just noticed that this is a different interview for BBC World! He says mostly the same as in the BBC Breakfast one, but a few bits are a little different.

He also says tickets are available now... guess he was still a bit tired this morning. :teehee:

Yes there is one for BBC Breakfast and another for BBC World News.

I am not sure if it was live or pre-recorded. It looked like live. (but on the other hand they put some images during his talk). Maybe he didn't know when it will be broadcasted?

Yay, finally Germany! :teehee: :roftl:

I have to say that when I asked Mika last year to add a tour date in Central Europe, I wasn't exactly expecting a show at 9pm Central European Summer Time... I guess the next time I have to be a little more specific. :lol3: But all jokes aside, it's been a while since we were buying tickets and looking forward to an event so it's quite exciting even though the occasion is a tragic one. However, Mika is a specialist in turning tragedies into art and doing the best out of a disastrous event. So I believe he will prepare something special and beautiful even under these circumstances. :mika2:

We’re getting lots of questions about this show, so I thought I’d take a minute to clarify a few things. This is everything that I know so far. Please read on!👇
1️. The livestream will take place on 19th September and will be broadcast via YouTube.
2️. Mika will stream the show from his garden in Italy. In addition to music the show will feature footage from Lebanon, as well as the stories of people affected by the situation there.
3️. Tickets for the livestream will be available starting Monday 24th August via Ticketmaster. (Link: https://shops.ticketmasterpartners.com/mika-livestream) They will go on sale at 10am Central Europe Time/9am UK time. Virtual tickets will be sold for several different time zones. You will buy a ticket for your time zone then will receive a link for the stream shortly before your designated viewing time on 19 September (20 September in Australia/East Asian time zones). Each time zone *should* have plenty of tickets available but be sure to buy yours soon!
4️. All proceeds from the “I Love Beirut” livestream will be divided between two charities: Red Cross Lebanon and Save the Children Lebanon.
5️. If you would like to make an additional donation to Mika’s fundraising efforts for these charities you can do that on his special GoFundMe page.

www.gofundme.com/f/ilovebeirut

To be clear: tickets are ONLY available through the Ticketmaster link starting Monday, 24th August. While the money collected for the tickets will be donated to the charities Mika is supporting, the GoFundMe page is for any additional contributions you might wish to make.

A few other things -- we don't know yet if the show will be live for all time zones -- that would mean that Mika would have to do the show three separate times. It's probably more likely that it will be live for the first stream, and that it will be re-broadcast for the other time zones later. But we don't know for sure!

We also aren't sure whether you'll be able to buy tickets for multiple time zones. You *should* be able to, but again, we're waiting for an answer on that.

Lots of you have asked about whether there's a limit on tickets. No limit has been announced, and we assume that tickets will not "sell out." However, be sure to get your tickets as soon as you can, just in case YouTube puts some sort of restriction on the number of viewers. (I doubt that would happen, but...)

If you have any other questions please ask! Your enthusiastic response to this initiative has been heartwarming!
