We should start chat at the before the show thread as like usual gig, I think.

This concert will be the first ever World Wide Concert !!

Let's have fun chatting and planning fan-actions at here !!

Fan action. This is what we all are missing, right? :lol3:

I hope it will be possible to add commnents or a chat window.

It must be something short but visible.

What if we just put a comment metionning our countries? To show from how many different parts of the world we are.

For example:

POLAND FOR BEIRUT

FRANCE FOR BEIRUT

GERMANY FOR BEIRUT ect.

Or

POLAND SUPPORTS LEBANON

FRANCE SUPPORTS LEBANON

GERMANY SUPPORTS LEBANON

Just to show our presence.

I don't know maybe one day the show will be available on YouTube as a standard video and the comments will be there too?

That would be really cool! And he could see the love from all these countries!

Beirut explosions: for Mika, "such a disaster calls for action"

Deeply affected by the drama that occurred in Beirut, his hometown, the singer opens up about the charity concert he is organizing on September 19.

Can you tell us more about the guests who will be attending?

It will not be a succession of guests, not a collage of performances on Zoom (Editor's note: a videoconference service), but a show thought out with a concept, a narration. It will be a concert by Mika with Lebanese, French, Mexican, Italian, American, British participations ...

:wink2: QUSTION

Do you expect that who will appear as the guests at the concert ?

I guess

  • Lebanese : Hiba Tawasi ( ex The Voice Team Mika )
  • French : Doriand or Kendji
  • Mexican : Salma Hayek or Danna Paula ( hope they perform NEW SONG ! )
  • Italian : Chiara GLiazzo or Fedez
  • American : :dunno:who?
  • British : Jack Savaretti

How about you ?

I think there are a lot more  possibilities for the French guests like :

Florent Pagny

Zazie

Carla Bruni

Arielle Dombasle

Jennifer

Soprano

Dave ( M.O Fogiel's friend)

Philippe Katerine

Sylvie Vartan

Marc Lavoine

Fanny Ardant (even if she's an actress she can sing)

Any singer working with Doriand (there are many....)

And so on ......:naughty:

I'd also add Ibrahim Maalouf  even if he's also organising his own show for french tv

Quoting myself here from the other thread, re. fanactions:

idk if he will watch the comments, maybe he can even deactivate them.

I'm thinking a cool fanaction would be for everyone to donate (again) on the gofundme page during the livestream, so he gets a nice surprise afterwards. :wub2: After all, that's what it's about, right? Raising money and raising awareness for Beirut, so I think these things will be what he appreciates most in this case. Or have it trending on Twitter at the same time. Tho I'm not sure I want to write a lot of Tweets while watching. One donation should be possible tho.

I also like Anna's idea, and something else we could do in the comments would be rainbow coloured hearts for Tiny Love (or another song), as we did at the shows. :wub2:

💙💚💛🧡💜

In Imogen's livestream it was also possible to donate directly via youtube, but someone on the chat there said that in this case Google gets a big part of that money, so if that's true, gofundme surely is the better option.

I would look nice. But while watching YouTube on my laptop I can't find the way to put colour hearts in comments

Yes you can. Do you have a keyboard icon on the bottom right of the screen? Click on it and you'll get a virtual keyboard with emoji and hearts of all colors :wink2:

It looks like this:

@Anna Ko Kolkowska Another alternative is to just copy and paste them from somewhere else, for example from this thread. ;)

No I don't have a virtual keyboard icon. Anyway I would prefere something more simple for all viewers - when they see our fan action they would easily follow us.

More news:

Remembering the livechat from the Me, Myself video premiere, I think we might have a hard time getting anything across on there as a fanaction. I hope Danna will be on quite early, otherwise the livechat will probably be full of "I love Danna Paola / where is she?" posts.
