La foto di Francesca Padula pubblicata su Instagram (@corrierefiorentino) che ritrae Mika, elegantissimo in completo color cammello e t-shirt bianca, sul Ponte Vecchio ha scatenato una valanga di like e la curiosità dei suoi ammiratori: «Cosa ci fa Mika a Firenze?» si sono chiesti. Il mistero è presto svelato: il cantante di origine libanese è il protagonista della prossima puntata di «Sette Storie», il programma della Rai a cura di Monica Maggioni che andrà in onda lunedì 21 dicembre in seconda serata. «Siamo qui su Ponte Vecchio, abbiamo registrato un’intervista per Sette Storie, sarà visibile il 21 dicembre» ha annunciato con una storia su Instagram lo stesso Mika, in compagnia di Monica Maggioni e del sindaco Dario Nardella. Nella puntata, passeggiando per la città, Mika si racconterà in un’intervista intima e inedita. Ma protagonista sarà anche Firenze con i suoi angoli, i suoi monumenti, le sue bellezze. Mika è molto legato al capoluogo toscano. Qui ha tenuto un memorabile concerto di Capodanno «Sinfonia pop» al Teatro del Maggio nel 2016, oltre ad essersi esibito più volte al Mandela Forum e qualche mese fa ha scelto San Casciano per girare una parte del video del concerto evento per Beirut, la sua città nativa, dopo l’esplosione che ne ha devastato il porto ad agosto. Nel gennaio 2018 ha ricevuto da Nardella le Chiavi della città. E in effetti il cantante qui ha proprio preso casa: in una villa nella campagna poco distante da Firenze.
