Hero Posted March 26, 2021 Share Posted March 26, 2021 I'm curious if anyone else has seen the changing artwork for the Grace Kelly video on YouTube, and if we know anything about it? There have been several different pics over the last few weeks. I saw this 'garden festival' one today (apologies for low quality, the new images don't appear when I search on mobile so I had to take a photo of my laptop screen) : Maybe to welcome spring? It's a static shot on the screen while the song plays. Other images I saw included a group of diverse women with the word 'empowerment', (maybe for international women's day?) and one with a sparkly rainbow coloured background (maybe for Pride?). I wondered if there was something dodgy about it, if it was a spoof to lure you to a scam site, but it seems to go to the official channel, plus the artwork seems too good for that. If it's a link, why wouldn't it just show the standard image, and play the video as normal? Where are the art/images coming from? dcdeb Posted March 30, 2021 Share Posted March 30, 2021 Periodically Universal puts out compilation playlists or albums that include one of Mika's songs. When that happens, it seems that YouTube automatically uploads all the songs from the playlist/album again with the new artwork. You'll see it again here: We've seen it a number of times over the past few years, and it always freaks us out, thinking Mika went and released new music without telling us! I read that that it's a feature of YouTube Music only and I thought maybe that's why it doesn't appear on my laptop...
