Recommended Posts

I have just received a newslettere for Philharmonie de Paris.

This is what they say about rules for concerts for more than 1000 persons.

Well, till October it can change but it's good to know what is going on now:

In French:

Pass sanitaire

Google translation:

This system, which will allows you to attend our performances in enhanced security conditions, will be in place for all our concerts in the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez as of June 18. Events taking place in the Concert Hall, Studio and Amphitheater are not affected.

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Health, this pass is needed for adults and children from 11 years old.

Spectators not residing in France will have to bring an official health document pending the establishment of a European system.

More explications about the details:

As not France resident we should have a new EU certificate Covid passport (the system starts the 1st of July). Or we should have a standard tests no later than 48 hours before the event (made in France) or the one issued for travel purpose.

The QR code has to be possible to be recognised by the French system.

So our local certificate will not work.

When I read the gouvernement page I can see that for the moment the health pass will be checked between the 9 juin and the 31st of September (only the starting date was mentioned on the Philharmonie page).

But I will be not surprised if the will extend the date after the 31st of September.

As Anna says, it's planned that there'll be an EU wide vaccination pass soon, I suppose the yellow one won't help you at the venue because each country has a different system so far. When it's available you're supposed to get it in the place where you got your vaccinations (Impfzentrum, Arzt, etc.).

Starting from July 1, you'll get a digital green certificate. We will need to make an account to register to an European database, we'll get a verification code, then we'll get the certificate with a QR code on our phone. When we travel, they will scan the QR code on airports or borders.

During the last 2 months, they built the database and tested how it works, and there's already 7 countries that started to use it officially.

I´ll try to ask if I will get a QR code when I get the app. It seems to be so difficult......

It's simple, you'll see. You will get the QR code for sure, all the countries adopted the same procedure, but it will start only on July 1. You don't have to go anywhere, everything will be online. It will look like this:

@Sabine64 In fact in Germany they already started to use it, it's one of the 7 countries that started earlier, just saw the list. So you must be already able to get your digital green certificate.

Here's more info:

Sabine, this is what I found about Germany entering the EU system.

But for sure you will find something more updated on the German government pages .

All persons already vaccinated will have the QR code.

We still have time to organize everything till October.

This code will be useful not only for the concerts but as well for travelling - to avoid expensive tests every few days.

"Covid passport in Germany
According to the European Commission, Germany will introduce its system first in some regions, and fully - by the end of June. People who are already vaccinated will automatically receive an electronic version of the document.

The digital proof of vaccination in Germany will be available through the CovPass app, which is linked to the EU platform and is intended to provide vaccination evidence, up-to-date test results or a history of Covid-19 in participating countries. Also paper, the so-called the yellow vaccination card is still valid.

In Germany, field tests with a digital vaccination certificate have been carried out at some vaccination sites since last week. This will allow you to see if, after vaccination, citizens can scan the evidence using the app. This should facilitate travel checks. While the German app displays the proof of double vaccination in blue, the EU has proposed green for digital vaccination certificates."

No, you'll get it already filled by authorities along with the QR code.

I agree, it's all so chaotic and each vaccination center, each state has their different systems, so I doubt it'll work out to receive anything automatically. Luckily we still have time til October. 😅

I got vaccinated before they sent the data to RKI so authorities don´t know I´m vaccinated

Can you try to check if you can get your certificate on CovPass app? Since all the EU and EEA countries signed the political agreement and already tested the EU Gateway, I'm sure it will work. And since Germany started to provide de documents since June 1st, probably the system it's already functional

Personally I'll wait until we get official news about it. Right now I don't need the certificate, and I don't want to be a beta tester for some app of which I don't even know what data it saves about me.

The last info I read on the news was that to get the QR code you need to contact the place where you got your vaccination, but it'll only be possible in a few weeks. And what do people do who don't have a smartphone? I'll be on holiday in Italy with my family in late August, and I'm sure we'll get news until then, if there's any certificates needed (yesterday they took Italy off the list of risk zones, so at least travelling from Italy to Germany is possible without restrictions right now). I hope not, because with the children it'd be complicated, they can't be vaccinated yet.

But it is possible to get a vaccine and not be registered in some national database? Here we got a paper document after vaccination, but also a link where we could download the digital version on our phone. Every dose of vaccine and every PCR test result it is registered in that database, that's how they know how many people are vaccinated or if someone had Covid in the last months.

Are you sure you're not registered anywhere?

I also was vaccinated before the "sanitary pass" process begun , but it was possible to be registered afterwards via the French healthcare site

Germany has a special security with data, everyone thinks it could be saved too much about them. I looked it up on Internet any datas about vaccations is saved since millde of April and I got my jabs in February. My vaccination center is closed so I´ll try at my doctor and when he can´t help me out I´ll try to contact the last vaccination center near me. Thank gof I have enough time to care for it

From what I've read on the EU Commission site, the tests are already finished in Germany and other 6 countries. They explained the personal data will be saved only on national websites and the EU gateway won't have access to them.

For those who don't have a device, they will receive a paper version, I posted above a pic with both versions.

For kids I think there's needed only a test, but don't know exactly from which age.

But you're right, we still have plenty of time to find exactly how it works, and also many restrictions can change in the meantime.

@mellody  I've heard that the age limit for children can be different in different countries.

So you have to check it before travelling.

Yes, I know, thanks. Travelling abroad definitely is more complicated than it used to be, and I'm aware that even if we just stay in the EU, we have to inform ourselves shortly before our travels about the current rules and restrictions for our destination AND for coming back. Like, if my son would have to quarantine after our holiday, we couldn't go, because school will start shortly after.

Anyway it's going a bit OT here... let's sum up that it's necessary to inform ourselves about travel restrictions before we're going to Paris. And it also can't hurt to book flexible offers for transport & hotel, and/or get a travel insurance that includes a Covid policy for infection AND quarantine. Like, if you have contact to a Covid positive person at work a week before your trip, you'll probably have to quarantine and can't go. At least it's like that in Germany. Although if you're vaccinated it doesn't apply. Except if if the person you had contact with had a dangerous variant of the virus. :mf_rosetinted: (I hope I got the point across that it's complicated :lmfao:)
