Nel corso della conferenza stampa ufficiale abbiamo ascoltato le voci di tutti i protagonisti che a XF hanno lavorato, e tutti, ciascuno dal proprio canto, hanno voluto sottolineare la natura rivoluzionaria di questa edizione inedita alle porte. Per Antonella d’Errico (Executive Vice President Programming di Sky Italia), "X Factor è la shining star del DNA di Sky e rappresenta due cose, la contemporaneità perché racconta il presente e a volte lo precorre, e la ricerca del talento, talento che viene ricercato anche in un conduttore che è di fatto un'altra scommessa". A farle eco Nils Hartmann (Senior Director Original Productions Sky Italia) il quale ha parlato inoltre di una nuova apertura tra generazioni: "Quest'anno XF dà la possibilità a noi genitori di dialogare con i nostri figli proprio grazie all'abbattimento dei limiti preesistenti". Sempre Hartmann, dopo aver dedicato un in bocca al lupo ad Alessandro Cattelan per i suoi nuovi progetti, passa la parola alla new entry Ludovico Tersigni che esprime il suo entusiasmo per questa sua grande avventura: "Non posso che ringraziare tutti per l'opportunità, mi sono sentito subito parte di un gruppo, non solo con i giudici, ma con tutti i concorrenti". E a chi gli chiede i nomi dei conduttori a cui si ispira risponde "mi è sempre piaciuto Fiorello, è un one man show e cercherò di portare sul palco quell'energia e quella luce". Si respira una bella atmosfera sul palco e la complicità esplode nelle parole dei giudici che come loro solito, si divertono a punzecchiarsi tra loro, come sottolinea Mika, "abbiamo riso e pianto insieme, non ci siamo parlati per giorni, ci siamo emozionati ed è una cosa bellissima".

I commenti dei giudici

Emma: "Sono contentissima di ritrovare i miei compagni e ringrazio Sky e Fremantle per questa avventura da cui si può imparare tantissimo anche solo stando ad ascoltare. Per me XF è formativo, mi mette alla prova e mi diverte. Mi piace l'aria che si respira. Rispetto ai generi dico che sono sempre esistiti e sempre esisteranno, ma non dobbiamo fossilizzarci sui termini, la differenza la fa il talento ed è questo che ci renderà sempre unici".

 

Hell Raton: "Al di là di Ludovico che è stata una grande sorpresa che ho apprezzato moltissimo, ritornare a XF per me è stato come rientrare in famiglia (una famiglia molto animata). Sono felice di salire a bordo di questa bellissima nave".

 

Manuel Agnelli: "A me piace che XF racconti la musica attraverso i generi e la contaminazione tra questi. Quest'anno il talent ha una grande occasione, raccontare ciò che è successo mentre sta succedendo, e l'epopea dei Maneskin lo conferma: X Factor sta alimentando il cambiamento".

 

Mika: "Sono daccordo con Manuel, c'è stata una contaminazione (chiede di passargli il termine n.d.r.) che è significativa e l'abbattimento delle categorie ci permette di non sprecare i talenti. In questo modo proteggiamo l'eccellenza e la mettiamo al di sopra del meccanismo".

It's interesting how the pic makes me jealous but when I see the video I just find it funny to see them spontaneously fooling around. I wonder if the media will get a wrong idea again from that pic (or those pics, I suppose the photographers took some more than just that one), the last time they did just from Emma stroking Mika's dogs... 

 

Anyway Mika looks fab in pink!   I'm not much into shirts with a big designer logo on the front, so the "Valentino" bothers me a little - but it's rather unobtrusive as it's all the same colour, and it just suits him so well that I don't mind.

X Factor 2021: novità e conferme da Ludovico Tersigni, Emma, Mika, Manuel Agnelli, Hell Raton

 

Al via X Factor 2021, l’appuntamento è da giovedì 16 settembre su Sky e NOW, con la prima puntata in simulcast su TV8. Tante le novità, altrettante le conferme.

 

Cominciamo dal conduttore che, come ormai sapete da tempo, è Ludovico Tersigni (Tutto può succedere, Skam Italia, Slam, Summertime), attore giovane ma già affermatissimo, conoscitore e amante della musica, ha pure una sua band e suona basso e chitarra. Prende il posto di Alessandro Cattelan passato in Rai dove il 19 e il 26 settembre andrà in onda con il suo programma Da grande e al quale Ludovico si è molto ispirato, come ha rivelato nel corso della conferenza stampa di X Factor 2021.

Altra novità di rilievo, l’eliminazione delle tradizionali categorie, e questo accade per ora soltanto a X Factor Italia.

 

Confermatissimi invece i quattro giudici che sono sempre Emma, Hell Raton, Manuel Agnelli e Mika che ovviamente dovranno tener conto nelle loro valutazioni e nelle loro scelte del fatto che i concorrenti non saranno più suddivisi in under uomini, under donne, gruppi e over, ma pare che sia un grande vantaggio per loro e per la musica stessa, almeno così spiega Emma in conferenza stampa.

Certo è che ognuno di loro avrà una squadra eterogenea di artisti e ci si baserà soprattutto sulla loro proposta musicale e sulla progettualità artistica, senza nessun limite.

Tranne che per una regola: ognuni giudice dovrà portare con sé ai Live almeno un solista e almeno una band, cioè in pratica non potranno avere una squadra con tre gruppi o tre solisti, che altrimenti sarebbe quasi tutto come prima. Altrettanto certo, almeno da quello che possiamo immaginare, è che la gara e la competizione tra loro sarà ancora più accesa. 

 

Sempre quella la modalità di svolgimento di X Factor 2021:

le selezioni saranno divise nelle tre classiche fasi che gli artisti dovranno superare per poter arrivare sull’ambitissimo palco dei Live : le e prime tre puntate di Audizioni;

due serate con i Bootcamp e il temuto momento delle sedie;

e l’ultimo appuntamento con gli Home Visit, l’ultima chance per poter entrare nel gruppo di 12 talenti protagonisti dei Live Show, le puntate in diretta di X Factor 2021 che quest’anno saranno ospitate presso il Teatro Repower, ad Assago (Milano). 

 

Al termine delle Audition, entrerà in gioco la novità originata dall’abolizione della suddivisione in categorie tradizionali: i quattro giudici si riuniranno con la direzione musicale dello show per confrontarsi sui giudizi dati nel corso della selezione e sulla progettualità artistica di ciascun concorrente. Sulla base di questo confronto, la direzione musicale assegnerà a ciascun giudice un roster di 12 concorrenti che terrà dentro sia partecipanti solisti che le band (da intendersi qualsiasi formazione musicale composta da più di un elemento), senza nessuna limitazione data dal sesso o dall’età.

 

A seguire, le quattro squadre così formatesi affronteranno prima i Bootcamp, sempre a Cinecittà, durante i quali rimarrà immutato l’elettrizzante meccanismo delle sedie già visto nelle precedenti edizioni grazie al quale i cantanti passeranno da 12 a 5 per ogni squadra;

e poi gli Home Visit, dai quali emergeranno per ogni squadra i 3 effettivi concorrenti che poi accederanno ai Live, durante i quali, dal 28 ottobre, potranno darsi battaglia settimana dopo settimana per arrivare alla finalissima.  Il programma è stato ovviamente realizzato nel pieno rispetto della normativa relativa alle misure di contenimento del contagio da Covid. Anche quest’anno RTL 102.5 è la radio ufficiale di X Factor 2021.

That is also the way in which X Factor 2021 is carried out:

the selections will be divided into the three classic phases that the artists will have to pass in order to arrive on the highly coveted stage of the Live: the first three episodes of Auditions;

two evenings with Bootcamps and the dreaded moment of chairs;

and the last appointment with the Home Visits, the last chance to enter the group of 12 talented protagonists of the Live Shows, the live episodes of X Factor 2021 which this year will be hosted at the Repower Theater, in Assago (Milan ).

At the end of the Auditions, the novelty originating from the abolition of the subdivision into traditional categories will come into play: the four judges will meet with the musical direction of the show to discuss the judgments given during the selection and the artistic planning of each competitor. Il giudice veterano di X Factor 2021, Mika, ci ha rilasciato un’intervista in cui si parla di discriminazione anagrafica nella musica e di come poter replicare il successo dei Maneskin grazie allo show di Sky prodotto da Fremantle, portando ancora la musica italiana in vetta alle classifiche mondiali. L’occasione c’è stata al termine della conferenza stampa di presentazione della nuova edizione del talent. Ecco cosa ci ha detto.

 

Mika, c’è ancora una discriminazione nella musica, che è quella anagrafica. Secondo te può esistere ancora un caso Susan Boyle o è stato un caso soltanto televisivo che con la musica non aveva molto a che fare?

Utilizzando Susan Boyle come esempio di eccezione alla discriminazione anagrafica nella musica è un po’ esagerato, perché era una combinazione di tantissime cose un po’ strane, non usuali e anche molto toccanti. Susan Boyle era una cosa totalmente a parte che non c’entra un cazzo con questo discorso, però, rispetto alla discriminazione con l’età c’è una ossessione con gli artisti giovani. Questo è vero. Questo non è sempre la cosa migliore che aiuta nel percorso di un artista. E ritorniamo a questo discorso. Se uno sta funzionando su TikTok non vuol dire che si può trasferire semplicemente alla radio o trasferirlo sul palcoscenico. Ci sono diverse fasi. L’esperienza anche conta, però devo dire che nonostante l’età, se qualcuno rimane con quella luce dentro di sé, può avere una carriera molto lunga. C’è sempre Mick Jagger su questo pianeta. Fino all’ultimo momento, anche dopo la sua morte David Bowie ha fatto uscire un album. Quando fai una cosa bene e fai una cosa tua, chi se ne frega dell’età: è soltanto una domanda in un’intervista.

Secondo te è possibile avere altri fenomeni come i Maneskin? Quando si va ad X Factor, ma non solo ad X Factor, si tende sempre a sottolineare la bravura del cantante, piuttosto che affossarlo giustamente, perché è giovane. Però poi c’è una strategia per farlo funzionare e far funzionare la musica italiana nel resto del mondo?

La cosa particolare per i Maneskin è che loro stanno cantando in italiano, perché i Dj italiani hanno avuto un impatto enorme. Possiamo dire che la più campionata in tutto il french house è anche la base di quello che è diventato il pop di oggi … la musica italiana e la dance italiana ha avuto una influenza enorme. Mahmood ha avuto una bella reazione in Francia e anche in altri Paesi. E’ sempre una sfida per tutti. E’ sempre così bello quando c’è uno come Stromae in Francia e poi lo ascolti in radio qui … quella cosa lì è speciale. Ancora una volta torniamo a questa idea dell’eccellenza, una cosa diversa, estrema e molto personale, che può attraversare anche i muri, perché i muri comunque nella vita ce ne sono tantissimi.
