The colour is added to white wine, but it's anthocyanin, which is the compound that gives black grapes their colour EDIT: according to a wine blogger, anthocyanin can't exist as a blue colour in wine as the PH value of the wine is too low, so they must be adding another colourant as well. 2 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
