Mika, "The magic piano": tour nelle arene e nei teatri

A settembre straordinaria anteprima all’Arena di Verona

MIKA – THE MAGIC PIANO è molto più di uno show.

Mika, "The magic piano": tour in arenas and theaters

Mika's new live adventure in an iconic formula created exclusively for Italy. An extraordinary preview at the Verona Arena in September

He is one of the most original pop songwriters of this generation: MIKA is ready to extend the embrace to the fans and to bring his music on a special tour to Italy, starting in September 2022, produced and organized by Mika himself with Friends. & Partners.

MIKA - THE MAGIC PIANO is much more than a show. A colorful two-faced jewel, with two shows for each city, in different and equally sensational dimensions: one in the theaters, one in the arenas, for an iconic formula created exclusively for Italy and which will be inaugurated in September 2022 with a great preview at the 'Arena di Verona, the Italian temple of music in the world, and at the Verona Philharmonic Theater.

The connection between artist and audience, the energy and intensity of the performances will not be lacking in the theatrical set as well as in the arenas, but the vibes will be different and always new.

In the theater show, designed specifically for this tour, the scene will be essential, the dimension contained, with more dialogues and acoustic arrangements. The arena show recalls what MIKA will bring around the world (among other dates, Montreal -Bell Center Arena- on April 9th and Coachella on April 15th and 22nd) but enriched and integrated for the occasion, with the presence of a satellite stage that will bring him closer to the public and give him the opportunity to reserve spectacular surprises for fans.

The common denominator will be the magic plan of MIKA, at the center of both shows: faithful friend, companion of creations since adolescence, storyteller, magic box of an explosion of colors, ideas, follies.

Tickets on sale from 12:00 on Tuesday 8 February on Ticketone and Ticketmaster.

Always best to get a ticket.  Mika is amazing in small venues, you shouldn't miss the experience.

Yes, I definitely think I will. I always hesitate because I'm not independant but I just saw there was travel agencies just for the people who have an handicap who help us travel and feel good... Sounds nice !

Does it mean that in arenas the stage will be in the center of the venue?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds great.

You know, I'm not so sure anymore I can. Specialised agencies cost a lot of money, and without, I think it's simply impossible. That's way too hard for me. I don't abandon, but yet, I think I will know if I can go only some moments before, so I will stop to pollute the thread. :lol3:

Anyway, in any case, I hope the poeple who are sure they can go have their tickets monday, because that sounds really great ! :original:

Dammit! No leave is being granted for weeks 19th and 26th September.  :overreact:

:crybaby:

I've put in a leave request for the Rome date in October, will see what they come back with.

Fingers crossed the Verona date is early September. That would be cool actually, doing the opening night and the closing night.

Some fans have called in sick to go to a Mika concert before :mf_rosetinted: I hope you can do the opening night and the closing night

MIKA just announced a new Italian tour for this fall:

Repost from @mikainstagram

I think it means a 2nd stage, like for the Mika loves Paris gig.

But in Mika Loves Paris there was a sort of a large "catwalk" - more similar to Revelation Tour.

It was not called a satellite stage.

The old part of Roissy airport is called "satellite" - it's a round building with smaller ones surrounding it.

Another sort of satellite:

So I consider a satellite as something round.

I remember some time ago Mika posted a story from Shawn Mendes concert with a round stage as well. He loved it.

Well, we have to wait till September to know better .

Satellite stage would also be round to me, or maybe even heart shaped, like in Stade du France!

Maybe with little catwalks going into the audience? My other theory is that he will be flying over the audience, but as amazing as that would be, I would also be a little bit scared for him soaring over the fans :biggrin2:

That's it. A satellite stage means a second stage. Nothing to do with the shape, sorry. 😉

I guess he might be inspired by the idea of those different stages (some of them were even mobile stages) the production created for the XFactor finale at the Assago Forum. It's a good, scenographic way that allows the artist to be closer to a faraway part of the audience and reach more people. Also, in a pandemic situation, you cannot have Mika simply going around in the middle of the audience during Big Girl like he used to do during the Revelation... So, the second stage is a perfect solution for everything!! Can't wait!!!

I think the one who would be most afraid would be Mika. :teehee:

This sounds so much more plausible than my interpretation, but I do think my interpretation would be more spectacular :lol3: (and absolutely more terrifying for all parties!)

Whatever it is it will be for sure very interesting.
