Not that there's anything wrong with those! But I just knew there was so much more there. I'm just overwhelmed to hear it all. All of our (my!) analyzing and second-guessing took us (me!) down some wrong paths. When Mika first started teasing this song, I thought the words were "every step it takes me higher..." then I changed my mind and thought it was "every second takes me higher..." but now I'm pretty sure it IS every STEP. And it sounds like the words "and your skin, what it's for" are correct, too -- at least in the orchestral version, not sure about the other version. The biggest "reveal" for me is that the line isn't "And if all this DUST should fall upon my skin..." it's "And if all the STARS should fall..." And now we have two versions of the song, with slightly different lyrics, as well. Here's my current best guess -- still fuzzy in a few places, but nearly there! Let me know what you think now! I love the softness of Mika's voice, I think there's a lot more emotion behind it compared to the duet version. As much as I love his upbeat songs, I missed calm ones, with few instruments. And there it is. His voice is so beautiful. Téhu's songs are my favorites new songs since a long time.
