I was watching the videos from Essonne and I found out that Mika was wearing a new necklace.

It looks very similar to his old "human shape" necklace from the past. But colours are different.

Here is a new one.

Festival RTL2 Essonne en Scène 2024 : Carton plein pour la 5e édition

Deux jours de folies ! Le Festival RTL2 Essonne en Scène a rassemblé plus de 20.000 personnes sur le prestigieux domaine de Chamarande.

Ils étaient nombreux à avoir fait le déplacement. Ce week-end, 25.000 spectateurs sont venus se déhancher sur les musiques de grosses têtes d’affiches comme Hoshi, Matmatah, Santa, Kyo, Étienne Daho ou encore Mika à l’occasion de la cinquième édition du Festival RTL2 Essonne en Scène.

Deux jours de folies !

Il faut dire que durant deux jours, les organisateurs avaient fait les choses en grand au domaine de Chamarande (Essonne) ! En plus de découvrir de grands artistes qui se sont partagés la scène aux côtés des jeunes talents; de nombreuses associations étaient présentes durant tout le festival.

Une quinzaine de food trucks ont également été installés pour l’occasion afin de satisfaire les papilles des festivaliers entre chaque concerts.

Ce vendredi 30 août, c’est le groupe Kyo, la chanteuse Hoshi et le groupe Matmatah qui ont ouvert le bal de ce festival devant plus de 10.000 personnes. Samedi 31 août, le public a pu applaudir Etienne Daho, Santa ou encore le chanteur Mika qui a clôturé cette cinquième édition avec un concert très coloré.

Un succès dont s’est félicité le président du conseil départemental de l’Essonne, François Durovray en conférence de presse qui n’a pas manqué de déclarer : « Ce Festival est une grande réussite ! »

Un succès très partagé par les nombreux festivaliers que nous avons pu rencontrer tout au long du weekend à l’exemple de Kiara, une habitante de Chamarande, qui depuis plusieurs jours, vie au rythme des installations du festival et qui ne pouvait donc pour rien au monde rater cet évènement.

« On habite à Chamarande, on est juste de l’autre côté de la gare à quelques centaines de mètres du Festival et quand j’ai su que Mika se produisait, alors je ne pouvait pas manquer cette soirée. » nous confie cette dernière venue avec un ami.

Kiara qui aurait toutefois grandement apprécier pouvoir assister aux concerts de la veille, mais faute de budget, elle n’a pas pu être présente durant les deux jours : « J’aurais bien aimé voir Kyo hier mais faire les deux jours, c’est quand même un petit budget, on est jeune, on a pas un salaire de foufou donc on a dû faire un choix. » se résigne-t-elle.

Pour Estelle présente les deux jours, son choix artistique s’est porté sur la chanteuse Hoshi : « C’est sur Hoshi que j’ai le plus dansé car elle sait comment mettre l’ambiance, il y a une bonne cohésion de groupe » nous explique cette dernière qui a également apprécié découvrir de nouveaux artistes comme Nochka.

Le Festival RTL2 Essonne en Scène aura donc rassemblé 25.000 personnes durant deux jours incontournables. Reste désormais à savoir si une sixième édition pourra se faire en 2025. C’est en tout cas ce qu’espèrent les organisateurs du festival qui travaillent chaque année, main dans la main pour faire de ce Festival, l’un des plus importants en région Ile-de-France.

Around fifteen food trucks were also set up for the occasion to satisfy the taste buds of festival-goers between each concert.

This Friday, August 30, it was the group Kyo, the singer Hoshi and the group Matmatah who opened the festival in front of more than 10,000 people. Saturday, August 31, the public was able to applaud Etienne Daho, Santa and the singer Mika who closed this fifth edition with a very colorful concert.

A success very much shared by the many festival-goers that we were able to meet throughout the weekend, like Kiara, a resident of Chamarande, who for several days, has been living to the rhythm of the festival installations and who therefore could not miss this event for anything in the world.

"We live in Chamarande, we are just on the other side of the station a few hundred meters from the Festival and when I knew that Mika was performing, then I could not miss this evening." confided the latter who came with a friend.

Kiara who would have greatly appreciated being able to attend the concerts the day before, but due to lack of budget, she could not be present during the two days: "I would have liked to see Kyo yesterday but doing the two days, it is still a small budget, we are young, we do not have a crazy salary so we had to make a choice." she resigned herself.

For Estelle, who is present for both days, her artistic choice fell on the singer Hoshi: "I danced the most to Hoshi because she knows how to set the mood, there is good group cohesion," she explains, who also enjoyed discovering new artists like Nochka.

The RTL2 Essonne en Scène Festival will have brought together 25,000 people over two unmissable days. It remains to be seen whether a sixth edition will be possible in 2025. In any case, this is what the festival organizers hope, working hand in hand every year to make this Festival one of the most important in the Ile-de-France region.
