InfiniteGreen Posted June 10, 2007 Share Posted June 10, 2007 OK so we've heard Mika sing fab versions of 'Everybody's Talking', 'Hips Don't Lie' and 'Same Jeans' and loved em. But what other cover songs would you like him to sing? I was listening to 'Don't Leave Me This Way' by the Communard and thought that Mika could do a great version of that. For some reason I really could imagine him singing it. So any ideas on songs? I just heard Cheap Trick's 'I Want You To Want Me' on the radio. You could argue that the message is similar to 'Love Today', but I would still love to hear Mika do a cover of that one. Also, I think Yaz is pretty much split up by now, but it would be great to hear Mika sing some of their songs (esp. from Upstairs at Erics) with Alison Moyet. Wow that would be amazing, I bet he would pull it off tremendously. I love Dave Matthew's "Satellite" but Mika's version is just amazingly spine tingeling crazy.
