RAK1
London or Birmingham, equal distance for me, so I'm open. It would be nice though if they could swing down to the West country, and not just for Glastonbury. We do have good venues here, Carling Academy and Colston Hall in Bristol, Westpoint in Exeter, The Oasis in Swindon and loads more I can't qute remember just now. Just a thought. Strudel
Odd, link from the academy's site now shows up as availiable on the 12th. Maybe it's cause i've already ordered...
isawthesun
i just booked for Birmingham...The Academy is an all-standing venue anyway, so it doesn't matter about which tickets you are allocated. However, it is true that for some pre-sale ticketed events, you don't always get very good seat allocations...
isawthesun
Just managed to get a ticket for Manchester on the 27th Feb, too! Yay!!! Â Now, only Birmingham in february eludes me!

Mika Mad
Once you've pre-ordered your tickets and given the credit card details etc, does that mean that you'll absolutely definately get the tickets? I ordered mine yesterday, but now I'm getting a little paranoid that it's not guaranteed.
-Jennie-
Yep it should be definate. You should get a confirmation email to say what you've booked.
Mika Mad
Oh, I'm worried now, because I haven't had a confimation email yet. Do they usually come immediately, like when you order from Tesco?
Strudel
Who did you order from? Â Check your spam folder.

Mika Mad
It's there!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Strudel. I would never have thought to look in my spam folder (I am a total clutz with the computer!) I can go to bed happy now. Thanks again
Cautionary Wife
If you ordered from Seetickets.com you should've got an immediate reply from  donotreply@seezz3.com headed Ticket Order Confirmation  Did you print off or save the screen that had the confirmation number?  Help desk phone no 0871 220 0260 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  CW. Mika Mad
Thank you Cautionary Wife. I am very pleased not to have to ring that helpline, but thanks anyway and no, I didn't print off or save the screen, I really am that useless......
-Jennie-
I'm not a huge seetickets.com fan..They always seem to dispatch tickets really late compared to other sites. I remember the panic when my scissor sisters tickets didn't arrive until the day before the concert.. 2 hours before I had to get on the train to London! Strudel
Hmm, everyone seems to have got tickets from seetickets.com  I found the presale link through the Academy website and ordered through ticketweb.com  Apparently they're the same company, although my Mika tickets for Brum this month still haven't come through (See Tickets) while everyone else on ticketweb seems to have received them. Which isn't very good:thumbdown:
-Jennie-
Ticketmasters the most reliable in my opinion for getting tickets out in time, most of the other companies seem to run with seetickets.
Mika Mad
I did order them from see tickets, which worries me slightly, but I'm so desperate to see Mika live that I'd have bought tickets from Beelzebub if he'd been selling them first! Gill
First, great news - a gig with no mimum age limit so we can take our equally Mikaholic children. So 9am hubbie was on the phone and bought 4 tickets to Mika's Birmingham gig on 17 May. Â Then last night we realised... our 10 year old has a Key Stage 2 maths exam at 9am the next day! There's no way she can be up until 12.30 or 1am during Sats week. Â Sadly, we'd already told them the good news, so had to break the bad news last night. Â If it wasn't KS2 Sats I might not have ruled out the gig, but these exams decide her level for secondary school in September. What's more, I work at the children's school. Wouldn't look good, now would it! Â
andi
oh, thats such bad luck. I hope the kids took it well!!! (probs not though). Â lv, andi xxx
-Jennie-
I'm gonna check the exam board website and check i've got no exams the next day.. not that it'll make any difference - i'm still going! Hopefully they're starting later than that though. (concerts at the academy don't tend to run as late as arenas in my experience. when I saw Lily Allen there last year it finished at 9.15!)
