i wonder why he did it like that...

I THINK HE GOES FOR A DOUBLE MEANING...KNOW WHAT I MEAN??

"she's a player and a down right bore" (i guess that could mean there are so many freakin sluts in the world...u should be somthing greater than that..not a "bore")

"she's a player and a down right whore (well...she's a player...and she's a down right whore...problem solved)

but i think bore matches up with the song more...why? because the next line is "Jesus loves her, she wants more"

why would Jesus love her if she is a whore...unless Jesus fancies those things!!!!

:biggrin2:

In the booklet with the CD the lyrics are given as

"She's a player and a downright bore"

but I'm sure that Mika sings

"She's a player and a downright whore"

Do you think that it's a mistake or is it deliberate?

-it certainly makes it easier for me to explain the words to my young daughter!

it says bor ein the booklet and on the cd it sounds like bore...but in concert he said whore..oh hes such a rebel

I'm almost certain it has to be ''Whore''. They usually censor these things don't they? Like for example, Black Eyes Peas' ''Let's get it started'' the album version is "Let's get retarted" or in JT's Sexyback he sings "Them Motherf**kers don't know how to act" but they took that part away in the videoclip and the radioversion. So far my sharp analysis:naughty:
