mikalovesme
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLBuMV337mk&NR and the lyrics of course... ooooooh oh oh I sit and think about the day that you're gonna die, 'Cos your wrinkled eyes betrayed the joy with which you smile. Care to see my reason? Care to put your life in mine? Looking at life from the perspective of a boy Who's learnt to love you but has also learned to grow. Could we make it better, stormy weather, So hard to know. Oh, oh, oh - Is there anybody home? Who will believe me, won't deceive me, who'll try to change me? Ah, ah, ah - Is there anybody home? Who wants to have me, just to love me? Stuck in the middle. I look at you, You look at me, We bite each other. And with your bitter words you kick me in the gutter. But my troops are bigger than yours 'Cause you'll never stand my fight. Ours is a family that's based upon tradition But with my careless words I tread upon your vision. Are five kids better than one, who'd busy like to be gone? Oh, oh, oh - Is there anybody home? Who will believe me, won't deceive me, who'll try to change me? Ah, ah, ah - Is there anybody home? Who wants to have me, just to love me? Stuck in the middle. Yea...Yea...Yea... This is to my name, This ain't a greater plan to break your heart of me. I know that what I've started means that when we have parted I can live in all this (stench?). Oh, oh, oh - Is there anybody home? Who will believe me, won't deceive me, who'll try to change me? Ah, ah, ah - Is there anybody home? Who wants to have me, just to love me? Stuck in the middle, Stuck in the middle, Stuck in the middle, Stuck in the middle:punk:

titania
I have a question I've been meaning to ask about the 'cos your wrinkled eyes...' or 'cos you'll never stand...' I don't hear 'cos' ... I don't hear an extra syllable there , so is it there? I realize I often mishear things so if anyone could tell me I would be grateful
Shontih
http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1637 <-- Got ya covered. We already mulled things over Stuck In The Middle Here ;]
titania
On that thread 'cos' is also used and I've been listening but I don't hear 'cos'. Not important anyway.
Shontih
The first 'cos' is put in the really quick. If you listen you can hear him. Its not super-obvious though. It's just barely there. The second 'cos' before you'll never stand my fight can be taken or left but its there. With both its just a hint of the word. I don't know if you're a native english speaker but its easier to detect. There are some words we run together when we speak or sing so to some it sounds like we're leaving it out completely. I can say I hear the 'cos', though. If you don't then I suppose just don't include it *shrug* its not really important
titania
Thanks very much. Embaressingly enough, yes I am a native english speaker but I (too) often mishear (or don't hear) lyrics anyhow
Shontih
oh we all do hehe Thats why I had to make that other thread. And theres stilla line we don't know @_@ lol its not uncommon to mishear things at all. Unless I have read the lyrics I try to never sing too loud because I'm sure half the time I'm wrong on a few words and someone will hear and think I'm an absolute fool haha
