I'm a mutt! And I love mutts! I have English, Scottish, Irish and a bit of French ancestry from my mother's side and mostly Dutch from my father's side. My two married sisters are both married to Mexican-Americans so all of my nieces and nephews are mutts. Yay! I am fascinated by the differences and similarities in different cultures. Up with variety!

I can't do the "Mika 4" with my right hand but I can do it easily with my left.

Mika is unequaled, unmistakable, unique and understanding (of differences in others).

Mika is polite, perfect, popular, and plays particularly pleasing pop.

Sivan, you did such a wonderful job with the book. It looked amazing! And you got to personally give it to Mika and talk to him about. That was super cool! Pretty good reward for a job well done!

but I think he'd better concentrate on new songs (for us, we have never got enough...)!

 

I second that. Forget a fashion line. Just wear the fashions (or not:naughty: ) and we will drool over them, but he needs to use all of his time to come up with more songs and videos. He can also use some of his time to add to his repertoire of sure-to-drive-us-crazy-moves!

I would love to see baby pictures of him, too. I am sure he was just a-door-a-bul! With those sparkling eyes, curls, infectious smile and laugh and big personality, I am sure his mom had a hard time scolding him or saying no to him!

I have 9 nieces and nephews altogether who are my life! I don't know how to post pictures, but take my word for it, they are gorgeous!

I posted my traumatic search story in the thread about low sales in America. I have not heard him on radio here. I wish his record company could make stores put his cd in a featured or new release area. I also wish they could get his songs on radio and videos on the tv and internet video sites. I want everyone to know about him! Is there anything we can do?

Mika is fresh, friendly to fans, filled with fantasy and fantasy fulfilling, and flocked to (by us crazy fans)

Did he not listen to the whole cd? Mika puts heart and emotion into all of his songs, from extreme energy and happiness to sad and/or introspective. He is a whole ocean full of pounding waves and ebbing calm.

Hey, did anyone else in America have trouble finding Mika's cd? I had to go to three different stores before I found it. Where did you all buy yours?

I was finally able to make it into the city to get Mika's cd today. Yay! I don't really buy cds, but I thought finding Mika's would be relatively easy. But it was really hard finding it. I went to Best Buy, it was nowhere to be seen. I asked for it, they said it showed they had 12 copies but couldn't find one. I went to WalMart, couldn't find it (although they did have Kaiser Chiefs). I was going to Target, but they were closed by the time I made it. Finally, got it at HEB+, which is a grocery store that is now trying to expand and be more like Walmart. They had it! I was so relieved to finally find it. I was actively searching for it and could barely find it. I wish there was some way to make stores put it in a featured, or the new release section, let more people see it. At HEB+, I put his name card and last cd out in front of the line so maybe someone could see it and try it out and fall in love with it. Maybe it being hard to find has something to do with sales. Or maybe I was just going to the wrong places, I don't know. As I said, I don't buy much music. Anyway, I have it now and am listening to all of the songs for the first time. So happy now.

I'm sad to hear that. I hope it changes. Unfortunately, I have not been able to buy his cd yet. I have not been able to make the trek into the big city to get it. Hopefully this weekend I can make it in!

i lost my records cause of this magazine!

 

i was at the airport when i saw the mika article and i got so excited i forgot my records at my feet when i went to pay the cashier! when i realized i forgot i was in the middle flight, i panicked!

 

i even had a signed nilsson album in there, if mika knew i lost a signed a nilsson album! oh my!

 

Oh my goodness! I feel so bad for you! Did you try contacting the airport or something, maybe someone could have turned them in. It's a long shot, I know, but it might be worth the effort, you never know.
