Oh wow! Going on these images, you get to see the "other" side...thanks for posting. I like the one with Saranayde in it- she looks good and looks like she's having a good time. Poor Mickey looks like he needs a rest...

There's nothing more annoying then someone who can't stay on topic and rambles...

But I also agree that the rationale that "what on earth would Mika say" etc etc, is not reason enough to have this "policed".

Besides I have been on threads where, say someone knows that they're off topic (Myself incuded!) mention that they are off-topic with emoctions and are being "told" by mods or others to stay on topic-

perhaps this particular request is needless??

without my trusted sidekick (I went on my own) I had no choice BUT to take pictures... also I knew this would be the last time I'd be seeing Mika, until his next tour...

I did make recordings of some of the songs but I concentrated more on Mika's interaction with the crowd.

And btw is Ally the backing singer if so what was up with her outfit during Happy Ending, it was like she just put it on and kept re-adjusting it throughout the song. AWKWARD!!!

I've managed to play back the video (what little I got of HE) and realise what you're talking about. It was Sara, the back up singer and she couldn't stop fidgeting could she??? I didn't notice it at the time though...

EDIT: It was in the HMDYLM Video and not HE

That was such a lovely post to read; I'm intrigued about your report from January, we saw him here in the UK around the same time so it'd be interesting to read what your thoughts were at the time

Oh I loved it!! The string quartet really did add to the atmosphere. I almost felt that Mika tried to slow the tempo down a bit and the verses were sung as it should be: you know the bits- "Wake up in the morning, stumble on my life" and "If anything should happen" etc etc

I've just remembered, I so wish I'd filmed it though (hopefully someone has:wink2:)

Gray Skelly came out to the front of the stage greeting the audience before going back to Mika and embracing him- after the embrace Gray Skelly pulled away but Mika grabbed him/Her(??) and gave a full bodied kiss, while GS tried to pull away...well as much as you can with a blown up doll that is...at the time it was hilarious, you had to see it though....

Ally? Mika's BG?? I never thought she was shy...in the DVD she was very confident....

Umm... to me she was always the shy one- whereas (oops the name evades me!) was more bolder. On the DVD, there is the playing with Mika, i.e. toying but its the look on her face that makes me think she isn't as forthright- ummm not explaining it all that well...sorry!

Oh and Showtunes17- I didn't notice that about her outfit!

My Interpretation was sang very quickly and although I have nothing against Sara- I didn't like the way she swung from side to side like "lollipop girl"...Maybe she got the act wrong:naughty:- I have a video clip trained on just Sara as I thought I was imagining it! Will try to upload it tomorrow (new camera haven't a clue how to play it all back!)

My memory fails me at this point- but I'll come back if I remember anything else:wink2:
