Well, despite the last few posts, I thought the show last night was fabulous. Mika was very nice when he came out earlier in the day. It was sweet.

I went in with the expectation of dancing and having a good time. I stood front and center with my friends and the amazing people we met (hey everyone!). My expectations were more than met-- Mika seemed to put more effort into this show than any of his prior ones in NY (I won't judge anywhere else, as I haven't been anywhere else and it would be UNFAIR if I did so), and he had a ton of crowd interaction. We made eye contact many times and it was lovely.

My sole criticism is that he should not have endorsed the stage jumping during Lollipop. In theory, it was a good idea. My friends who ended up on the stage had a wonderful experience. But I was suffocating and almost blacked out after my body was crushed by the overzealous fans behind me. Oh well.

Overall, it was a wonderful show and a great experience. Even waiting in line was fun.

Good luck with getting your tickets, people! I got mine today and am so glad it's finally a done deal!

i'm jealous. this ticket thing is stressing me out so much.

Is there anyone going to the NYC gig alone and wants to meet up?! I'm moving to Merrick, NY 21st of January from Holland and don't know anyone in the US, so I don't have anyone to go with and I don't know the city very well, so another reason for me not wanting to go alone!

I know! It was a good size, super easy-perfect location, and they put up with all of our detailed questions in advance, with responses withing 24 hours. Except that guy that was a rude email-er, remember him? We all got so pissed at him.

Haha yes! The people at Nokia were quick to get back to us, but I still have the nasty e-mails from that guy in my inbox!

Sorry it's been so long-- I've been so busy w/ school and applying to college. But I'm all done with those applications now!

Anyway...Mika is coming back to NY! Finally!

So yea, I've met lots of you guys before, but it would be so great to meet up again after. I'll be with the group of girls I'm always with...

Haha, thanks! We have an issue with spending far too much money on rainbow things we will probably only wear to Mika shows. I was going to wear the outfit I wore to the Nokia, but the red hairspray I had in my hair then ruined my Relax! shirt and cheap matching jewelry. Haha, oh well!

Haha, it's kinda true though. I'm horribly unlucky with everything else, but it seems that with Mika, my friends and I have loads of luck. We always seem to be in the first row, and wait around at the right locations.

I love meeting people at the shows, so next time you better come over to us! Talking with new faces makes the wait time pass so much faster.

I don't think so. I wasn't a big poster on the MFC back then, but I talked with you guys the night before on the Nokia thread.

You all seemed like awesome people, I wanted to talk to you but wasn't sure if you'd remember me. I've spoken to you and Love Today before, but not much.

Yea, third time! I feel like we're old friends by now, lol! We spoke with him at GMA, but not at the free show (even though we were in the front row). We didn't wait around after the free show because we were far too wet and cold.

Don't get me wrong, they're not bad people, I love them to death, they just get cranky in situations like that when they're tired easily. =/

To be honest, I was so scared of going with them because I know how they get and they're all unpredictable. (The mother also).

Everywhere we went they were yelling. That took away from my experience, honestly.

I talked more with other fans I met for the first time than I did with them.

We met at Nokia, right? Or am I thinking of a different person?

And I have loads of friends like that, so don't feel too bad. And at least you got in, which was amazing.

Their behaviour embarassed me. I was upset too, and I tried to get the VIP things, but I couldn't get the chance, but I was at least happy we were there and got inside, and that I met them.

Were you with them, as in standing with them, or with them, as in "we're friends and came together?" Just curious.
