    Hi World Reps :bye: I have some exciting news for you.

     

    As part of the site migration, all the World Representatives are going to have a new banner for our signatures. I don't think we will get them straightaway as the Mods will be concentrating on making sure the new site is up and running OK.

     

    I don't have any details about the new design yet, so it will be as much a surprise to me as it is to you.

     

    Roxy and Diani, this is why you haven't had your banners yet, just hold on a little longer :hug:

     

    I should also tell you that I am going to contact some of the reps who don't seem to have logged in for a while, to see if they still want to continue.

     

    I know it sometimes can be a low priority to check the MFC when Mika is not doing much, but with a new album and tour coming up we want to make sure there are reps around to greet all those new members. :naughty:

    Now I've compared all the versions, the non-France & Italy iTunes version only has one French track (L'Amour). In place of the other 3 French songs, it has Rio, Promiseland and Porcelain, which are the bonus tracks on the de luxe versions.

     

    However it does also have a Good Guys remix which doesn't seem to appear anywhere else.

     

    There's also a bonus track in the japanese edition :thumb_yello: hopefully it will be another new song , like Your Sympathy in LICM. It would be great if we can do a tab with all the songs in every edition , unfortunately i'm on ipad and making it would be kinda miracle :aah:

    great news! :thumb_yello: if nothing better comes up, or if many of my friends decide to go, i might consider this - but as tickets are pretty expensive and i don't think mika will do a full set, as he's not the main act, it's not very likely.

     

    i like it that on their website they explain the different ticket types, including a picture. normally you don't get much explanation.

     

    So happy for british fans :aah: Mika and Kylie in the same festival ? Pretty eclectic :naughty:

    Ha, well, I just haven't found that he's done anything interesting in the past few years, besides the albums, really :dunno:. I feel that he's wasting his time and focusing on the wrong things completely by doing the TV shows, but let's not get into that discussion here and now :naughty:

     

    I wouldn't imagine that I will ever be as active on MFC as I was before though, as that was due to a number of factors that made it a completely different time to now, but I had sort of given up on him ever doing anything that I would like again and now I feel a lot more hopeful after this song :wink2:

     

    Well there's no need to become as addicted as before ! I mean some fans spent their lives on the forum fangurling over M. :naughty:

     

    Hmmm...I think that he looks more like a devil and a zombie crossed with Rob Lowe, than like Mika...

    Yes I agree. Before I saw the video, I expected something with a party scene, but this was way better. It's really intense.

     

    Well after the first listen I understood what the song was talking about. But to be honest I didn't imagine a party at all , at least not the kind of parties we're all used to :mf_rosetinted::naughty: I wondered how on eart was he going to make a clip out of such a powerful song...I liked the result.

     

     

     

    I really can't believe that I am liking this song so much, because I must be honest: after his latest offerings and all the TV shows, I had completely lost faith that he could deliver something again that I would like, and he has done it.

    AND it's made me want to come to MFC and post again after years, so it must be a huge effect that this song has had :lmfao:

     

    It's still early days because of course we haven't seen the full album, but what I am hearing now (the two songs) I am really liking, so I hope that the album will make me feel the Mika luurve again :teehee:

    I don't understand why he wastes (imo) so much time doing silly things, when he has all this in him and he could be putting his time to so much better use! But I guess that he has his own priorities and that is just the way it is...:wink2:

    Perhaps these "silly things" M. Is doing are meant to stimulate his inspiration.

    Personnaly BBB put aside I've been loving everyting he's been doing musically. Although some of the oldest fans didn't like TOOL album , I found that it contained some of his best songs ! It was just badly promoted.

     

    I heard this as a tiny clip on iTunes and was kinda sad. It was just a bunch of words that rhyme all strung together.

    NOW.... I've heard the whole song and what a difference!!! I now love this song!:thumb_yello:

    The video too being just M. It's look at me... I can sing! I'm not just a tv celebrity who comments on others' singing. He looks vulnerable but I like that. The black and white makes it edgy too. I do miss the 'candy pop' but he like us all, has grown up and moved on. I'm liking the new MIKA vids if this is one of many.

    The song to me has the same vibe as 'Kids' but is more of an ear worm as it stays with you.

    I'm now inspired to buy the Album where as I was going to buy it as I'm a fan of MIKA and be rude not too.

    All I need is a few UK dates and I will be an Extra Happy Bunny this Easter.

    Ps. My advice to myself.... is not to listen to the teaser clips anymore haha!

     

    I had the same feeling at the beginning :thumb_yello: Glad you're back Daisy , hopefully some of the first fans will find back the joy of the beginnings :wink2:

    Just heard the song (probably illegally, cos I want to wait to order the hard copy of the album), and although it's so sad, it made me so happy- especially with the 'happy ending'-style ending! Finally another MIKA song that I actually like!

     

    Yes, the song sounds like it could be about Freddie when he discovered the gay scene with unfortunate mistiming given the HIV/AIDS epidemic. But then again, MIKA has said in the past that he's actually not a particular fan of Mercury or Queen (unlike me!) :wub2: .

    Looking forward to some of the other songs now! :)

     

    That's exactly what the song is about :thumb_yello: at least for me , as a gay man... I took it this way.
