¡Hola, MFC! I finally came back from my Barcelonian holidays (and managed to sleep them off a bit). I had a blast at the festival and it was not only of Mika's merit - everyone I met at Bona Nit was so nice and kind that it made the whole experience even more memorable! Thank you!
Above all, I was really touched by the fans' presence on stage - Mikasister and Meeks, you're the stars! I loved your spontaneous reactions to Mika's unpredictability, it felt like a natural part of the show. Mikasister, you're his favourite translator and you know it . Meeks, you have music in your blood; those moves! And of course all the beautiful M-hearts and perfect shining M-I-K-A letters only added to the magic of the evening. Good job, you talented people!

Other than that, I truly enjoyed reading your reports. It's fascinating to learn what the others felt in the same moments! Some of you pointed out the positive attitude of the security guards - that's indeed not obvious and pretty unique.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank the utter friendly group of fans with whom I had the most pleasant chat on our way back form Poble Espanyol. I believe happiness in life is composed of little carefree moments - and it was definitely one of those . I hope that we'll meet again - and that we won't have to wait too long for Mika to come back to Spain/Poland .

Now I know who you are. When I met you in Barcelona I didnt remember your name- It was nice to meet you.

I've just decided to fly to Barcelona for this one - I'm superexcited and hope to meet at least some of you there!

It's perfect . So simple and yet so intense. Very touching as well. I love the way the film completes the song, as if the lyrics themselves weren't already powerful enough.

Thank you! There will hopefully be a long list of gigs coming up now. I'm sure this is happy news, for people in the Czech Republic, and the countries close by, like Poland I hope for at least one concert in Scandinavia ...

Я не могла ничего писать 29 июля! Я была занята))). Ведь Мика был ещё в Москве). И я приехала домой только сегодня)

Ладно, пишу. Но я не знаю, что вы поймёте))).

Я привезла для всех подарки. Я ещё не знала, когда и как дать подарок каждому дорогому гостю России). По стечению счастливых обстоятельств я написала одному прекрасному бескорыстному человеку, который доверился мне и сказал всё, что я хотела узнать.Я живу в периферии и мы не потеряли традицию встречать и провожать гостей. Очень хотелось, чтобы Мика почувствовал себя желанным гостем с первого шага на нашу русскую земню. Я не знала, кого позвать с собой, если честно. Днём в рабочее время в интернете почти никого нет. В общем, сумели встретиться и поехать только с одной девочкой. Приглашать всех открыто я побоялась. Мы ждали. Долго. Около пяти часов. Наконец , я увидела Джона). (Джон , Чериз, Джимми , Имма и семья прибыли накануне, как выяснилось позже.). буду писать короче)). Я подарила Джону сувенир. Он разговаривал с нашей девочкой Катей, потому, что я сумела вспомнить мало слов)). Самолёт задерживался на час. Все пошли ближе ко входу ( ещё были 2 организатора концерта). Они пошли к столикам кафе, мы встали поодаль и смотрели на вход в ожидании Мики. И что забавно, я знала, что Джон обязательно к нам подойдёт и пригласит к столу)). Он подошёт и пригласил. Мы отказались, конечно. Но было приятно ощутить его британскую галантность на себе. Укорачиваю.... Нам сказали , что Мика подойдёт к нам, и мы ждали в стороне от встречающих. и МИКА вышел! По-моему , я начала повизигивать от радости)). Первое, что я увидела - это длинные ноги, шагающие сами по себе без его хозяина)). Размашистый шаг гибких журавлиных ног...Красота!! дальше я не помню, что было прежде, подарки или фотографии... Мило было с подарками). Я подарила ему подарок от знакомой американки и взяла для неё автограф. Интересно, как он повторяет слова)) . Берёт и комментирует, он действительно, не ожидал такой атаки

Милое и радостно улыбающееся лицо. Ему было дейтвительно забавно).

Мы с девочкой Катей сфотографировались по очереди с Ним. Совсем не помню прикосновений) . Только его мягкий согнутый локоть с мягкими волосками)). Я боялась прикасаться к нему, потому, что мы были горячими, а Мика был свеженький). Не хотелось его отпуcкать от нас. Я хотела сделать фотографию и когда звала Мику, он радостно поворачивался). Но так как он все время двигался, то я не делала никаких снимков и так было несколько раз. Уже в самый последний момент я снова позвала его и сфотографировала" лишь бы как " . Джон не дал ему повернуть в нашу сторону на этот раз))). Ангел-хранитель Мики). В общем, Мика был радостным, сияющим, улыбающимся и очень доброжелательным. Да...Я сказала в самом начале, " Я Лена, ты помнишь меня?" Мика сказал " Да, я помню тебя" и взгляд поменялся, когда человек понимает, что видит кого-то знакомого)). Вот эти глаза я и запомнила и это выражение лица) И эту встречу, самую первую и не последнюю).

Этих фотографий у меня пока нет, надеюсь и жду, когда мне их пришлют...

 

Видимо, это первая часть) С утра я ухожу на работу, а написала только треть)

Here's my short review of the show.

First of all, as I've mentioned before, I loved the atmosphere and the audience reaction. But even before the concert the venue looked like a huge picnic! People were playing cards, eating and drinking and singing songs. WE arrived at about 17.00 which was still good enough for row 3!

What I absolutely loved was that Mika entered the stage when it was already dark - last time I was him at Eden Sessions where the show began at dusk.

For the first time in my life I couldn't hear anything coming from the stage because of the audience reaction to the first sounds of Relax:thumb_yello:

The first sounds I heard was only when Mika started singing the first verse.

Then Big Girl and Stuck In The Middle followed with the 'world famous trumpet solo'. I loved the fact that Mika spoke a lot in Italian, but he also was talking in English, so that everyone understood.

I couldn't wait to hear Kick A*s but I was expecting it at the end, after GK (like he did in Cornwall). But here the song was somewhere in the first half of the show and we all had a blast! I had the impression the whole Rome could hear us sing the chorus! Same was in We Are Golden!

For the majority of the show Mika was shirtless - no wonder - it was boiling despite late evening. We could feel he had a great time and loved the interaction with all of us!

Highlight of the evening: before Grace Kelly he said the whole evening was dedicated to his Roman fan club who not only were sending him letters asking to come to Rome but also went to his house in London and asked him there:naughty:

After the gig we were waiting for him and wanted to ask about his first ever gig in Warsaw. We did succeed and what we got exceeded our expectations! Mika, when we asked him: Guess where you'll be playing at the end of next month, just looked at us and said: POLAND! Our reaction made a few people approach us when we finished and ask what he said to us and who we were:aah:

All in all everithing was perfect. I'd like to thank Agnieszka and Kamila for making these 3 days really special. It was my first ever Mika gig outside the UK and you know what? I've decided to do it more often!

O rany, ja tu kiedyś umrę przed tym monitorem, naprawdę! Kasiaaa, chcemy filmik! Ale Wam zazdroszczę, dziewczyny! Jesteście takie lucky że hej, za to ja, kiedy już w końcu ogarniam jakiś koncert, chcę jechać i wszystko dopinam na ostatni guzik, to mi go podle odwołują . No ale już prawie się pozbierałam po tej małej praskiej tragedii i zaczyna do mnie docierać, że M. n a p r a w d ę przyjedzie do Warszawy, to takie niesamowite! I do planowania czegoś mam coraz więcej zapału . Robimy burzę mózgów? Czy coś już się fajnego urodziło, a ja nie zostałam w ogóle wtajemniczona?

No tak, wiem, ale mysłałam, że da nam jakoś znać zanim się za to zabierze . Ale dobrze, że w ogóle znalazła czas!

Nie wiem, co się dzieje... Właściwie - czemu nas nie uprzedziła?

Wygląda na to, że Annia postanowiła w końcu przenieść forum... tzn. mam nadzieję, że to ona, a nie ktoś inny!

I'm so sorry for you guys that the concert has been cancelled! A lot of Polih MFCers wanted to come to Prague, the promoters should have moved the show into some smaller venue, and not just leave us like this, with our train tickets bought and hotels booked!
