I first heard MIKA In February of 2007. My husband and I were not getting along very well and I decided to go to a movie by myself. I went to see Norbit, and before the movie they always have some trivia up on the screen as well as some commercials and videos. Grace Kelly Came on and I was immediately won over. I entered it into my phone so that I would not forget and as soon as the movie was over I went home and watched the video again! Over and over and over.....lol. Needless to say I downloaded the song right away and have purchased all other songs by MIKA since.

SQUEAL!!!! Thank you so much for the BG pic and video! It totally made my day! There's one part where Mika's on the drum platform, and I'm totally getting down with my bad self. So cool! My mom's gonna freak. Thank you for the compliments guys. It makes me happy that I decided to do it.

BTW, did anyone get any Big Girl pics or vids? I only found one video, but I'm not in it. The videographer was focusing on her friend, who was dancing on the opposite side of the stage. Sad.

Such a phenomenal show!!! I'm so glad I flew out to vancouver for this gig. It was totally worth it. Mika and the band were nothing short of brilliant and never cease to amaze me. It was great meeting up with other members of the mfc again as well. I had a fabulous time and can't wait for the next opportunity.

Since some of you won't be here tomorrow night, i just wanted to ask what time are we gonna queue?!

Bad news everyone....

 

I can't go to the concert...

I caught the H1N1 virus two weeks ago and I had to cancel a choir rehearsal.

If I miss one more rehearsal I will be kicked out..I had not idea this was going to happen to me....

 

So if anyone wants two Mika tickets to the Vancouver concert i will sell them to you. just PM me your address and I will express post them to you...they are

printed off ones...if you can't afford it ....call it an early Christmas present from me...

 

I can't afford hotel right now either...the California trip totally ( but happily! ) stripped me of my funds...and I need to save $ again because we are going to California again next year at some point......

 

sorry everyone...who I wanted to meet or meet again...I am very sorry...

but I can't afford to be absent from Choir again...my reputation is on the line these days.......

I can't wait! And such a little venue. After seeing the size of the venues he's doing on the next European tour, I can't help but feel like we're a bit spoiled.

I'm super excited, can hardly wait until the 27th!! Excited to see some familiar faces and meet some new people......and of course for MIKA!!!! WOW, I can't believe I get to do this all over again!

I ordered mine from hmv.com and still haven't recieved it yet:sad: I really want it NOW!!!

Mika played the Orpheum last time, which is bigger (bigger than the LA venue from the same tour, even) and it looked like it was sold out, or very close to it.

 

That said, I'm not complaining. I like intimate venues.

Yes, I remember the coffee shop!! That whole evening was absolutely amazing. I do hope we get to do it all over again! The sooner things are sorted out the better, I too want to get everything booked!!
