  1. I'm very sad and deeply shocked about this. From the bottom of my heart I wish you Paloma a speedy full recovery! For Mika and the whole Penniman-family my thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish you lots of strenght in this difficult times! Send you love and good vibes! Bless you all!

To the MFC: Thank you for giving us a place like this, to send good vibes and prayers without disturbing the privacy of the family. A privacy they asked for and they need very much in such moments!

Thank you purpleguineapig4 and suisuimeko :wub2:

  2. But... but patience is something I don't have. :tears:

And I even placed two orders for Wiesbaden as I had forgotten my brother's ticket in the heat of the moment

I contacted Sandbag for informations. On Wednesday I got the following information:

    *Hi

I’m sorry but we are still waiting for the promoter to send us the tickets. He has said that they’ve been mailed to us.

We will e-mail you as soon as your order’s been dispatched.

    Kind regards

    Helen@sandbag*

So it seems we have to wait! :sneaky2:

  3. Ok, I tried to vote several times now, and it says I'm not in the same country as the username????? Help?

I have no idea, sorry! I vote from Germany. I can't understand why you are not able to vote!

But I'm didn' login to twitter. Perhaps that could be the solution?

  4. Yup, agree... though some (most) of my boyfriends at that time would have been behaving the same... Not that I'm a very good example lol I was dressed in a suit with a tie on at that time.:roftl:

Meeee tooo! :biggrin2: I loved ties!:wink2: And I think it is a very boyish behaviour! My husband did the same (as he told me after watching the vid.:roftl:) and my son too. :naughty:

okay, I have to admit, not only boyish....I did it too! :fisch:It is normal in that age..NO?:wink2:

  5. Please people can we have peace again in Mika's name?

This should be not a competition between different countries or different forums. :no:We are here only for one man. Mika! That should be the point! Nothing else. Please can we stop to be jeaulous of others anyway for what reason? We all follow Mika and try to provide him as best as we can! We all! Am I wrong??

Let us see the important things: He gave us hints about a secret gig in LA. Isn't that great? I'm happy for all who will be there! Happy for them and happy for Mika too!

As Mary said: Let's get over this, and focus on the new album, new tour, new...anything!

    I believe that we’re in this together!!!:thumb_yello:

So Happy Peaceful Easter to you all!:wub2:

  6. Yes, Sam Vimes and Granny are two of my favourites as well. I guess I mostly tend to love all the strong main characters, as well as a couple of oddball others... and some of the strong secondary characters.

Gee, I hadn't noticed that. I would have thought though that it's really just a fairly common phrase, when you talk about possibilities. I'd love to know if he does read Terry Pratchett though hehe.

Don't worry about how long it takes you to answer in this thread. It's a fairly slow moving thread anyway!

I think it is normal to love the main characters first. You meet them again and again. You know a lot of them and their personality and their whim. Its like meeting a good old friend! Isn't it? :wink2:

Thihih, Perhaps we should suggest Mika to read Terry Pratchett instead of Edgar Allan Poe??:naughty: But honestly I think it is a common phrase and Terry and Mika used it. A coincidence! but a nice one when you love the two of them!

Thank you very much! Indeed the thread is refreshing slowly! I so love that:wub2:

  7. Just post whenever you can - it's nice to hear from you.

And which gig did you go to, by the way?

I went to 3 gigs: 30-10-2007 - Frankfurt/Germany, 12-11-2007 - Esch/Luxembourg and the one in London Brixton 26-02-2008. Every single gig was awesome and special! My husband was with me in Frankfurt and London. He loved it too! In Esch I was with a friend.

Whats about you? Perhaps I saw you in London and didn't know? :wink2:

  8. Oh yes you're right about that quote - I hadn't noticed either! (So your husband watches the blogs too :naughty:)

Well its very late to reply to this but I have to say my husband isn't watching the Mika's blogs freely! I'm mostly that excited that he has to listen to me when I tell him all what Mika writes or I make him watching the blogs:naughty: But my husband is very patient with me and my Mika obsession:wink2: Lucky me!

  9. OMG Reading books is one of my greatest obsession! I read very different stuff, but I have a lot favs which I read again and again.

Currently I read The Lord Of The Ring Trilogy (once again). Of course I love The Hobbit too and The Silmarillion was very intersting!

I'm addicted to Terry Pratchett!:mf_lustslow: I'm not sure which book I love the most of his discworld novels. But The Wintersmith is definitive one of my favs. (If you know the books around Tiffany:wub2: you will notice my siggie:wink2: )

I love Jane Austen, John Irving and Rita Mae Brown and her stories of Mrs. Murphy. I'm obsessed with crime thriller - Agatha Christie, Ake Edwardson, Edgar Allen Poe, Jacques Berndorf or Andrea Camilleri and so much more.

    Of course I love Harry Potter. I'm sure I forgott a lot:blush-anim-cl:

  10. I love reading. It's my escape from this world. But yet I can't say I have a favourite book, I like many of them and I like different styles. However I hate it if books are depressed and sad.

I also like buying books but they're very expensive here.

Oh, and one more thing-what's your opinion on e books? IMO they could never replace ''normal'' old-style books. Nothing in this world feels better than taking a book in your hands and slowly drifting away from the real world into a world that exists in a book. And turning page after page. I like the way the books smell.:wub2:

:wub2:Oh Annabelle, this could be me, writing this sentences! :blush-anim-cl:The smell of the books, how it feels to hold a book in your hands. I agree to all what you said about that! It makes me happy in a way only music is able to do it!

    I don't like e books! That's is no satisfaction for me!
