is everyone ready for my amazing mika esperience yesterday?

 

well it started with me and my freinds getting there at 130. we were first in line!!! and we made freinds with a security guard and owen(mikas sound engineer) when ever he would come out for a ciggarette we would talk to him, i found out that him an dluke were looking at the forums afew days ago and luke liked them! and then mika came in and when he walked by we screame dmika and waved an dhe waved back, then we sat out side for som emore time, and then his mom got there, and we said hi to her and she waved back. then someone from trl came up to me and my freinds and was like, im from trl and were getting people to do blogs for summer concerts, do you guys want to do one for mika? and we of course said yes so we documented some of our concert, and then she told us she could try and get us tickets and we exchanged info and it was fun. so the next time owen came out we told him all about it lol and then we started talking to him about the uk documentary and how they asked his gf to be in it. We also asked if mika was gong to have any "wardrome changes: and he was like maybe...he has been doing that alot lately, usually i stand in front of him when he take it off and i w alsike omg jealous! then a little later jerry came and we of course screamed JERRY! and waved and he came over and saw our pins and took a picture of us on his camera then went inside for a few minutes and then came back out and took another one on his phone. afte rthat he went back inside and somone from abc came out and was like we just did an interview with mika, and we were wondering if we could get some video of you guys to add to it because well i went crazy with the o utfits haha and i had paint all over me that said mika and love today and hearts and rainbows and suspenders and so did all of my freinds. so they took some video and told us to go to abc news and search mika and we should find the video. after that nothing super big happened untill they let us in, i was front row center to the stage and i had ap erfect view of mika, all thorught out the concert he kept looking at me and that pink sock and reading the poster we had which said mikagasm, he looked at us alottt haha and he wodl read the poster, i actually have a picture of him looking at me! then afterwards we tried to find jerry because he told us to find him after the show and he would hook us up. we couldnt find him so we waited around outside untill they set the barriers up. we waited rigth by them and then a little while late mika came out! he came over to me an dmy freinds first he cam eover to me and went "oh you again?!" HE REMEBERED ME!!!!!!and he signed my set list (which owen gave me after the concert) and a poster i had gotten, then he hugged me, and pointed at my tamagotchi and went "i love your tamagotchi!" and i had my mfc pin on and he said i like your badge and i also had a birthday pin on and it looked like there was an 11 on it and he pointed to it and poked it and went " is it your birthday?!!, your not 11!" and he touched the pin but his finger slipped down and touched my boob!!!! then me, mika on the web and that pink sock gave him our present of a monkey that makes akissy noise an dhe put it to his face andmade it make the kissy noise, and he said he loved it and "it looks like a tamagotchi monkey" and then we saw jerry and we were like jerry!! and he came over and apologized alot about not being able to find us and we asked if mika could get a group shot with us and i gave jerry my camera and one of mikas guards wa slike ok mika its time to go and as he was walking to the car jerry got infront of him and said wait mika oyu have to take apicture with these girls so we got a group shot with mika where i caressed his wonderfully strong arm. it was a wonderful night...over all i got a hug from mika..WHO REMEBERED ME!!! who like my poster, who also poked my boob loves my tama and asked if it was my birthday. and amaizng night.

haha I am so glad you guys found him!! Thats hysterical that you got "felt up" by Mika. I'm happy Jerry pulled through and was able to get you guys the group photo. I can't wait to see it!!

I don't think it was you. The girl who kept pushing me was not an MFCer, I don't think. She moved up like, a lot of spots. She was far behind in the line, and she pushed up front before Mika's set.

 

So I totally apologize to you! I don't know exactly who you were, did you have long blond hair? if that was you, You were cool. You were probably cool if that wasn't you, as well. But like somebody said, besides the MFC people (who I could easily tell just by their demeanor at the show), it was a bit of an obnoxious crowd. So I apologize, for anything! It's just so easy to confuse with all those people around.

 

Did you get the drumstick? If so, congratulations!!!

 

...And yes, the pot was quite a genious idea. *Rolls eyes*

 

I'll get my pics now! I think I got a good one of Lollipop Girls on stage. I didn't get many, but my friend got some really, really amazing ones. I'll post those when I get them from her.

No I had the short brown hair and the blue dress. But I know those girls you are talking about I was really mad at them because they were drunk and high and smushed everyone uncomfortably. I think they ended up getting the drumstick You were totally cool though so no apologies needed. I hope you enjoyed the concert regardless of the people who sucked!! I know I did!

Good morning all. Just got up after 3 hrs sleep. This concert was definately different from his Gramercy concert. It seemed like fights were breaking out all over the place and i had a guy keep hitting me and then try to start a fight with my friend's boyfriend. It was just a very roudy, mostly obnoxious crowd...not sure if its the old fart in me talking but i dont think i'll be going to another mika concert for a while. I was so aggrivated after that we left and didnt wait for mika Mika's performance was awesome as usual but he is just brining in a whole different crowd now. It just seemed everyone at the concert were shoving or screaming at each other. I will post pics in a bit

I agree with you, it was a really weird crowd. I feel like there were a lot of catfights too (I was even involved in one) but I just wanted to scream at everybody YOU'RE AT A MIKA SHOW BE HAPPY YOU'RE HERE!! Mika's all about love and happiness and I definitely did not get that vibe from certain people.

WOW! Okay, here;s all of it. I'm tired as hell so bare with me. I've been up since 3 AM last night.

 

I met all you guys, and I must say, I was SUCH A NERD! I apologize for my being totally shy and weird. My friend got sick about 40 minutes into Mika's set, so I didn't get to stick with you all and see if we could meet Mika after. Which was a bit of a bummer, I at least wanted to meet Lollipop Girl since I was dressed as one, myself! But I was really worried about my friend, and I wanted to get to her ASAP (A security guard helped her out).

 

I was near a few of you (MikaOnTheWeb: Do you have blond hair, a rosette, MFC badge, and paint on your arm? If that was you, I don't think we actually talked but I was like, sort of right by you.)

 

So I was literally 5 feet from the stage, 2ndish row. I WAS SO CLOSE TO GETTING MIKA'S DRUMSTICK. I had it! But then this girl pushed me and I was really, really sad.

 

Um, he's an AMAZING performer. His set comes alive, I don't know how to describe it, other than Mikagasmic, which is a term you all understand.

 

I talked to Sarah Bereiles after the show, I loved her! We had a whole conversation. She's so sweet, too.

 

Ummmm, I can't think right now. I'm sure more will come up. Oh, and I thought I saw Yasmine walk by while we were in line.

 

I'll post my pics soon. They're alright, I think. Hw wore my favorite white pants with the embroidery!! Oh, and this woman delivering Mika's outfit talked to me and my Mom. She was like, a gopher or something, but she had his clothes in her hands. Yay!

 

And the Big Girls were taken from the line, they were gorgeous!

I remember you! You were standing seriously like right next to me haha. I hope I wasn't the one who pushed you and if I was I am very sorry! I just didn't want anyone to get hurt scrambling for the drumstick.

The show was aaaawwwwwweeeesssooommmeee I had so much fun!! I got to meet some MFCers and I wanted to stay after to try and meet him but it was getting late and I didn't want to miss my train. It was really cool to see such dedicated fans (the MFCers) who weren't crazy and really seemed to have it in with Mika's staff! I had a blast and I can't wait to do it again!!

YAY!! Counting down the hours. Heading to Green Acres mall for a shirt for tonight. I cant wait. I better make my husband something to eat before i go tonight. Ive been in Mika mode...dont want hubby to think i forgot about him LOL!!

May I Ask Why U R Going To Africa?

I am doing some volunteer work around Ghana for the entire summer. I wanted to see some concerts before I left and Mika was on the list!

I'm going to show up in a miniskirt and hooker boots. THEN we'll see how safe it is. No, I'm just kidding. Ima be in my Mika outfit thats been planned for months.

haha I can even assure you in a miniskirt and hooker boots you'll be safe...you might attract some unwanted attention but you'll be surrounded by too many people to be in a position of danger!

you might also get arrested by cops as they are pretty much on every block these days

I want to assure everyone that Times Square is very safe. I have been going there since I was in high school and I have never had a problem with bags, shady people, etc. I understand your parents' fears and I have no problem walking people back to subway/train stations, or chilling with them at the concert and keeping a watchful eye. I have a feeling this show is going to be fine, it's a young crowd and it doesn't get out too late, and its in a very well lit, popular area. Let me know if there is anything I can do, I've been to NYC loads of times and know the ropes!

On the note of a group photo with Mika, I think it would be easiest if we gave his manager (or somebody) one camera to take it with, instead of 20 induvidual ones. If someone wants to volunteer to be the camera person, and then upload it to the forum, that'd be great!

Hey kat, where did you get your tickets? I hope they weren't marked up ridiculously high. I'm still trying to get tickets, but there's no way I can afford the $100 they're asking for online now with my ridiculously low paying summer internship. As of now, a friend and I plan on standing outside trying to buy an extra ticket.

I actually found them off craigslist...I have seriously been sitting at my computer alll day refreshing the site to see what I can find. That's your best bet, and keep checking tomorrow too because tickets were selling on craigslist for Franz Ferdinand the other night for $300 but they suddenly dropped about 5 hours before the show to face value ($25) I think because people wanted to get rid of them. If that fails, try scalpers tomorrow but make sure you have cash in two seperate places...scaplers will try to get you for more if they see you have more money in your wallet than offered.

ALL RIGHT!! So I was FINALLY able to secure a ticket to the Mika concert and I am STOKED!!! I don't know if I am the oldest member (20) on this thread or not but I am going to act like mama bird and let you guys know that I am going to be in the city at around 3 PM so if anyone wants to meet up and chill or whatever I will be hanging around Times Square. You can send me a message for my number. Also I want to do everything that you guys are doing meeting-Mika wise so we should make sure that everyone knows the low-down on where to meet, what to look for, etc. I'll be wearing a short blue dress (i don't have any Mika pins or anything, sadness). But I am tres excited and can't wait! Hit me back guys!
