  1. i think it's pretty impressive how big they've gotten.. and i think theyre really talented too. i actually met them the other day in nyc, and i thought they were really sweet. they let me take pics with them and stuff, and i know a lot of other celebs just try to run away from fans.

  2. yeah the mikes are 23

and yeah im pretty sure that they really respond back, bc they normally sign who writes it.. plus, if it wasn't them, i dont think they would even take the time to write back. and i probably pay wayy too much attention to their myspace, but they wait to accept comments as opposed to letting them just show up on the page so they probably do that to keep organized with responding haha.

and the album is AMAZINGGG. im kinda obsessed with where did we go. =D

  3. hey,

if we're still interested in making those shirts for them, i found this place that does them- its $20 for the shirt + the design, or $15 for the design if you give them a shirt... and they will do it on a black shirt too. and i can put the design on a flash drive or w/e so they can do it through computer if we need. so, if we want to go ahead wtih it, and (I know the meyer twins.. you can't find a place to get it near you) you can mail me the $ and ill get them.

  4. hey guys

as for the shirts proj.. any updates or plans?

i think that if possible we should try to get them the shirts before they go on their summer tour... i realllly wish they'd put their tour dates up. im really nervous that their ny show will be the same day as my college orientation or something. that way we can wear the shirt we made them when we see them =)

the meyer twins.. did u guys find a way to order/get the shirts?

i basically have my pic ready, im just nervous that when it copies onto the shirt it will come out bad.

oh, and has anyone decided to make nathan's shirt?

  5. I like your t shirt :)

If someone wants to take responsibility for this project, and have it be seperate from the book than that's cool. The t's may take a while, and I kinda wanted to send out the books as soon as I receive marianne's drawing...just because my sister's got her wedding coming up and I'll be swamped...

so, whoever wants to take over can ask rosie if its ok to mail the shirts to them when they're set...but as for Nathan's... I don't know what to do anymore about it!:roftl:

So, if there's anyone who wants to take that over than please do :)

I can co design it, but the tech. stuff is impossible for me to do right now since I've got finals...perhaps marianne can help out, I'll have to talk to her sometime.

BUt basically, I think the first priority should be shipping out the books:thumb_yello:

i don't mind taking responsibility for the shirts.. it wouldn't make sense to wait for the shirts to be ready to send the book. how do i contact rosie?

if i end up taking responsibility for the shirts... maybe the designers can order the shirts themselves, then send it over to me, and i'll send the whole package to midway.

  6.

Yeah we either have to order the shirts fast because we all know that their probably waiting for the books.

We also like the idea of useing names/nicknames on the back.

On our shirt we used on the front "The Midway State". Is that fine or should be use "Killer" or "Kirsh"?

    M. Twins

personally, im a fan of "killer kirsh" because that kinda makes it his own, and it fits his personality since he always wears that killer shirt. but you can always leave the front the way it is with "the midway state" and put killer kirsh on the back.

  7.

Ours is finished too. A pic of it is on the top of this page. Don't know if you all like it? How are we all going to do this? Are we going to put stuff on the backs? Where are we going to order from. We are just a little stressed because we don't know how the total cost is going to come out.

i sent a pic of my basic idea somewhere on this page, but i still have to photoshop the picture a little to make it flow better, but i'll be done definitely by this weekend. if you guys have any ideas or changes, let me know!!

as for the ordering.. should we all order the shirts we made ourselves.. because i know that i want to get one for me too hahah. and i still like the idea of putting their last names or nicknames or w/e on the back of the shirt.. or we can even use jackviolet's picture of them on the back. i think the shirt will come out to approx $20.

should we send the shirts with the book? or should we try to give them the shirts personally? i really dont have a preference, but i'd feel bad delaying the sending of the books even more.

  8. Here's what i've been working on...

It's definitely not done yet, and i'm working on trying to make the image show up a little better. if its hard to tell what it is.. its a tree, with a pic of wise kinda underneith playing his guitar (theres a snake somewhere in there too but its hard to make out)

i wanted to add a few of those birds on the top, but i didnt do that yet. feel free to give your input or help!

  9. wow, this thread moves really fast.

ok.. i've been working on a design for wise's shirt. its in the works, but so far i kind of have a black and white theme, that kinda combines nature with music (guitar). its kinda cool.. i found a pic on their myspace of mike wise's guitar (it was a black and white pic) and then i encorporated it with this tree. idk, its really hard to explain, but if its on a black shirt i think it would look really cool. when its done ill scan it here.

as for (i think jack's drawing), what if we put that on the back of the shirt right under their last name. that drawing is wayy too amazing to leave out!

or maybe we can make them each their individual shirts, and then all together (so no one is left out) make a shirt that all of them will get. it can have jack's drawing on the front, and maybe very very short messages on the back of everyone involved. almost like we were all signing it (but through the computer).

and then, if we wanted, we could order like 20 or how ever many people we are, and give 4 to them obviously, then all get one to wear to their next concert. that way, they would definitely give us recognition!

that way there's a compromise between encorporating everyone's efforts, but still getting them a very personalized shirt.

just as a heads up, i'm going away tmrw morning and i wont be back till monday, and i wont really have access to a computer, so i'll keep working on wise's design for the shirt. hopefully nothing major changes.. i'm going to be days behind when i get back to this thread haha.

  10. yeah, we definitely want the shirts to be something that they would wear..

so i was thinking all of them should at least be black or a dark color, and i think the last name on the back idea is really good! haha.. like i dont think its too weird or anything.

and then for the front, i was thinking maybe we could try to have a pretty basic design, but add something subtle that makes it more personal. like most of us have been talking to them thruogh myspace, so we all kind of know them a little better.. whatever we do i'm sure it will come out great.

and as for giving it to them.. it would definitely be great to give it to them with the book. do you know yet if you (melanie) will be giving it to them in person or mailing it?

i think that the 4 of us that are designging the fronts of the 4 shirts (and whoever else wants to join in) should buy an extra for ourselves and wear it next concert (assuming they have the shirts already). That way, they would definitely recognize us =)

sry for the really long message.. but i think it would be better if we tried to design the shirts as opposed to buying an already made shirt.. it makes it more personalized.

  11. Hey, i have looked at the forums a bunch of times, but now i officially have an account. I just saw Mika at the Nokia theatre, but i also saw him at the gramercy and borders. I found out about Mika through my really good friend Thatpinksock who posts here all the time.

I love Mika! just like all of you, and he signed my shirt, hugged me, gave me a high five, i kissed his cheek, i have some pictures with him and all that amazing stuff!
